You know puck. This projected core is stacked ngl obviously goaltending is our biggest weakness but if we manage to get Swayman back the Bruins could go deep and go toe to toe with other contending teams🤞
Brazeau HAS to be in the line up. few things to consider. Freddy is a UFA after this year. If some of these kids come up and can play & the front office doesn’t plan on bringing back Freddy he may be moved during the season to get back any assets rather than nothing and to clear some room. Also not totally sold on the idea Lysell has to play top 6 to start. He looked shaky the other night and reluctant to battle for puck in the corners.
Depth matters, even at the beginning of a season. If Marchy is a month off or whatever his time frame is, someone's going to have to step up. And if there's another injury...next guy up stuff. The good news is that the team has enough depth without getting smaller. I'd like to see Tufte continue his AHL path to lighting up the lamp...had his best year last year in Colorado (Eagles) with 23G/22A in 67 games, and that's after his 19 goals the year prior. Ergo, this 6'6/230 LW is just starting to find his game (and the net) in the AHL. Honestly, he reminds me of Braz...a big guy who is relatively unknown; gets a little playing time; gets it.
debrusk was so overrated by bruins fans. Maybe in a new system he'll thrive but in ours he was next to useless and only benefitted when he played with Bergy & Marchy, who were threats by themselves... see their numbers short handed. Krecji played with him for 2 seasons and ended up leaving cause debrusk was trash.
Honestly he was so deceptive in his ability level because he was playing with two HOFers and I think if a better player was slotted in instead of him we could’ve made some deeper playoff runs
I got 1. Boston, 2. Ottawa, 3. Wings, 4. Panthers. Toronto’s depth and blue line are kinda weak, Panthers blue line looks awful, and Tampa the same as the other two mentioned.
@@edited1325 Well I have no stick in this fight as I’m a pens fan. But let’s hear your in-depth explanation as to why I’m wrong rather then a jabroni line of “delusional”.
@@edited1325 How are the Wings shallow? They almost made it in last year and this year they have Tarasenko. And Patrick Kane for all 82 game (health provided). The wings also have better depth right now than Tampa.
@@Kalaaver if Larkin does down it falls apart Goaltending is also mid btw I’m comparing them to the other teams in the Atlantic not the rest of the league
I say the Bruins will be first or second in the division along with the Panthers come on they had no center last year and almost won the division as they now have one and I don't see the Lightning in the playoffs honestly since they keep declining every year Red Wings will be 3rd imo and I see the Maple Leafs as a WC team Sabres did nothing this offseason so expect them to miss the playoffs again this season.
I like your predictions. I'll keep a closer eye on the Sabres. I think we'll hear from Ottawa and the sabres this season - whether they can sustain winning or not? Have the depth? So far probably not but, we'll see Detroit came so close. if they get a chance again, I don't think they're going to blow it this time. They're a fun team to watch - win or lose!
@@TheFoolintherainn Thanks i know my hockey mostly. Sabres yes Senators not so much they still have a long way to go though it seems the only team out of it is the Habs and yeah I don't think Detriot will blow it again either.
@@PennyFitzgeraldFan Ottawa has been doing a quiet rebuild with veterans, off the radar. No one's paying attention. I wasn't until recently. We're going to see a new revamped Ottawa team. I think Brady Tkahuck is rearing to go. And Ullmark steals games. Bruins got their playoff standing with 15 overtime loser points! We didn't belong there. Teams lower seeded than us won more games! The Bruins lost more games in over time than they did! 😆 But we were there! That's what I see with Ottawa.. Not saying they go to the playoffs - but they're going to show up This season and their gritty veterans should be able to take on Montreal's rookies And younger teams. Enjoy! ✌️
@@TheFoolintherainn I see well the Bruins won 47 games last season so and I can't see the Sens in the playoffs this year there not ready plus there in a very tough division so while the Sens will be better I don't see them doing much honestly.
@@PennyFitzgeraldFan that's what they said about the Bruins before Ullmark took net! And he ended up setting an NHL record for most winning regular season and got the vezina! Lol! Bruins fans trashed the crap out of Linus. when they should have been trashing Jeremy Swayman, or at least questioning him as I have been from day one. University of Maine goalies do not impress me. We're going to have to wait and see.. read up on their summer, they're ready to play. And when you're dealing with veterans, there's no learning curve like the younger teams. But after doing this for more than half century, this is fun having a season where anything can happen!! I hope you enjoy!
@@PennyFitzgeraldFan I agree and hope so, but ultimately it’s a business and his agent and ppl r telling him to get the biggest pay he can from anywhere 🤷🏽♂️
@@hungryhaitianna643 Agreed man and same here and I get what your saying it business after all but lets just hope Swayman signs fast now since the Season less then 3 weeks away.
One of the 3 best teams in the history of the NHL that season. No other sport can have such extreme highs and lows. 22-23 season was the best thing I have ever seen in my 38 years of life, followed by the first time I ever cried for a sports team. Greer kissing the B on the first game of the season is what Bruins hockey is about.
I love this team. if they played as good in the playoffs as they did in the regular season, we would have 25 Stanley Cup banners upstairs. The last 2 seasons were among the best ever. When these guys have the momentum I pity the other team. I will badly miss DeBrusk, Ullmark, Griz and Heinen this year. I will miss Jack Edwards even more. The team has started a new generation of Bruins hockey. None of us have any clue what this team will look like this year. Either it will be a masterpiece of a year, or a terrible year. I haven't been this anxious for a season ever.
Aww look at you acting all tough and shit on a Bruins channel lol get lost no one cares about you or your stupid Panthers revenge will come soon enough next season against you guys lol.
Jake leaving is sad for me because he was someone i always loved when he first started to sniff the show, during the 19 run i thought he was just unreal even if he didnt put up elite numbers, always killed tor every year and was still super young. Can still remember in the bubble year again CAR they were down by a few goals and i told my dad if we were gonna come back it was cuz of him, my dad ovb didnt think so but jdb scored and was a huge part of us winning that game. Far to inconsistent for a #1 winger but when hes on he is easily good enough to be a first line winger
@@carlpeant9666 Definitely an amazing Bruin. I got caught up only thinking about the free agents rather than every player. Same reasoning why I didn't mention Lauko either.
I'm glad Debrusk is gone dude was the defintion of inconsisent I won't miss him and the Canucks are insane for giving him a contract like that he not worth that much and I agree that Heinen might return someday as well though I was shocked Maroon left though we could've gotten a better version of him next season but i think his career coming to a close soon.
I know a lot of fans were unhappy, but I was really happy with how this season went. A team that lost its top centers and its pride with a demoralizing loss, bounces back with another winning season and a series win.
