No other sport has a foul system that is such a key part of the game. Every other sport fouls are to be avoided, and are obvious when they happen. In basketball you get intentional fouling as a strategy, and every little accidental fart and cough is a potential foul especially when ref discretion gets involved. Makes the sport ripe for fuckery.
