I love LL but you wasn't the first my guy you might been up north but downsouth and Westcoast. South had 2 live crew, and Westcoast had Ice T. And Eastcoast first chain out was Slick Rick. But LL copy Ice T because Ice T started Gangsta Rap that was him he was the street dude LL was lyrical he was more versatile. When Ice T came at LL with friendly competition Ice T made LL step his game up. That cover LL did was going at Ice T back in the day because Ice T was on his neck saying LL was suburban. All love but Ice T is so underrated and unappreciated he opened the doors for Westcoast.
