“I’m a rich, white Liberal…And in case you didn’t know? I’m here to exploit all minorities and act as your champion and savior. Not because I give two-shits about you, it’s to acquire more political power. Once I’ve got it, you’ll be discarded and forgotten about.”
I saw this title & started to roll my eyes then realized it was from the NDHS. Btw, from a Montana historian, I am extremely impressed by the NDHS. Wow they do great work!
I was about to say to wrap the poles 4x before putting on the cover but somebody beat me to it. This was very well done...coming from someone who has made the 3-pole style for 4 decades now. Made me subscribe to see what else you have. Pilamaya and Miigwech.,
You may want to change the name of this video. I stumbled upon because I was on the Historic Society for the gun videos. I love this, but wouldn't have found if....
Love these. DO MORE. And more details if needed. Look into having Forgotten Weapons (gun Jesus) come and do some detailed videos on your guns. Your channel with a connect to his.
Trying to contact someone from the State Historical Society here. I'm a person who makes short youtube videos telling personal stories. I was hoping to use some footage of the Safeguard complex in one of my upcoming stories. The videos are entirely non-commercial. The video I'm working on right now is about the low-level existential anxiety people my age grew up with as kids in North Dakota. All the missile silos nearby, the duck and cover drills, etc. I wouldn't use more than a few seconds of your footage for a couple different spots. I would give you full credit for your footage. Please let me know. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have. Thanks.
My fiancé Marlee, and visited wheatland wyoming launch control facility quebec one a few months back. The Titan 2 museum down in Arizona. I had gone and visited back in the 90s. About 7 different times and this last December my fiancé, and I went together. She says it was a totally different experience then just watching a viwell worth going. We also went and seen the air museum in tucson , along with the western movie sets. You did have a lot of good information. Use your volume was kind of low but one thing that you overlooked you mentioned about the titan 2, but you forgot to mention about the titan ones
Great presentation. I grew up near the site for the Montana installation and we used to visit the remains that were left over. It wasn't very complete and there was no pyramid structure. I've heard that it is now a graffiti mess but wasn't that way in the late 70's to mid 80's. I remember a bunch of friends in my grade school not being around after the project was shut down and construction cancelled. Growing up in the missile fields during the Cold War was an interesting experience and we had several LF's on our land. Little was shared about the details of these facilities especially as a youth so presentations like this one are fascinating.
Wow. I remember using step and repeat cameras back in the 70s. Also used several COM devices. And both vesicular and diazo duplicators. 16, 35 and 105mm formats. Thousands upon thousands of 16 and 35 mm rolls and fiche I've done. Good memories watching your video. Thanks!
A limited exchange of atomic weapons may well have been survivable but once thermonuclear weapons were developed I see why a lot of people thought it was futile - weapons thousands of times more powerful than their atomic brethren, and many more of them too.
The Peacekeeper seemed like a good missile, always found it interesting it was the only cold launched ICBM (excluding SLBM's of course) The whole system was nuts and just shows how barmy the cold war was.
I was running sound for a band playing in Mountain ND, 3 miles from the Cavalier Space Station. Mid song, the band stopped playing, ripped out their in ear wireless monitors, and started yelling at me. Someone came up to me and said, "They must have just cranked up the power to the radar".
I saw this at the Museum recently, and as an artist interested in historical subjects, I was wowed. I was also fortunate enough to be in front of it when a Mandan tour guide explained a lot of the history and culture contained in the painting. My dad proposed to my mom at Double Ditch, years ago.
Bollix ya lazy wankstain, the info is top drawer. I've studied this system for decades and our boy is well versed. I bet he could get well versed in Power Point too😂
More on this is a ziggurat or a trapezoid ancient peoples build these to invoke demon spirits to get their power of course this is probably just a coincidence
I bet you this man is the same scientist that's trying to convince me that telescopes can't focus on the moon and see all the junk we left there which is not there America we're being scammed don't you get it
Just like the Washington monument is 6660 inches tall.+ 666 in wide and the catalog number for that monument is 66000035? This is 666 again just a coincidence don't believe me check it out for yourself but that would be work got leaves 90% of Americans out
