So I’m definitely not an political expert and just came back from a long break of stoneworks But in my opinion there are to big problems 1. all good land is claimed 2. there is no pressure for nation to build a real living or economy My ideas for this would be: 1. I think only a claim with 10< ppl should be permanent all other claims should be limited on time( like a nomad camp) also the size for the claims should be reduced I know cities where 5 ppl hold a giant area and deny space/ resources for the rest of 2. I think there should be something which makes you stay focused Maybe like „erosion“ all player placed blocks have a timer how long they stay before destroyed It would me you have to repair your infrastructure and also clean the mess of blocks in the wild I know it sounds hard but ppl can live with this and you could make a thing like it decays slower in claim What do you think of this ideas
I've always wanted to get on Stoneworks but the big issue is no suitable pc. The other is it is all confusing, especially the economy. How will i make money besides all the OP stuff that requires capital and already oversaturated. Can't make money just being a farmer (like irl) 😂
Mid-management Gertek Government official here(or was until the reform). Gertek funny enough was originally going to settle east of Valreach but they had a problem with that and payed us to move to Adramis. When we learned of the political climate of the area we promptly wanted in. Enough of the nations was nice to let us in and we got piece of land though it was mainly occupied by a lake and a river and didn’t contain much plains as we asked for. We were betting on beepeck to gain support and trust of the other nation but they bailed quickly. Don Fuer was given land from a nation west of Gertek called Iskai and we bought off it them, doubling our land. We increased ties with Donfuer and Las Vidas since they were the nicest with us. Las vidas was getting worried about Dragotha Imperium which had them surrounded, raiding them and saying they were going to conquer them. Plus we had a traitor of Gertek within Dragotha so we want to use them as the next Beepeck. But Dragotha gov was incompetent and Gertek assisted in a basically accurate coup de ta and got land and vassal out of it. This is also when the coalition started to have its self dismantling. But the final nail was the Hogham Skirmish, a member of Gertek got killed by member of Hogham, our leader had proof but deleted to make Gertek the villain. But the killing immediately caused a raid of Hogham and lead to a high level government leader of Gertek to get hit by a ban weaponization. The ban made Gertek break away from the coalition and this is when I made that very map showed in the video. Gertek along with its land and FMA became The Saviors of Adramis. Now if the tensions would have continued trend this would’ve been a world war due to Gertek extensive alliances and the remains of the coalition collecting allies to stand a chance against Gertek. Though Gertek gov felt we were diving in to fast and risking allies to betray us to avoid bloodshed. So we calmed down, the coalition dissolved. And tensions basic died as activity in the smaller nations died poor government caused failure or they were sympathetic to Gertek. Gertek will have a reform of structure to avoid the problem stated in the first part of the video talking about bloated government(been problem to Kartek-Fjell as well). Now I would say at this point the Cold War thawed out. But more happen. Our vassal collapsed due to incompetent leadership and infighting, so we annexed it and let some of it to go. Then our FMA Las Vidas went schizo after their leader abandoned post, and we annex the splitting party and vassalized the remains to keep stable. Now that the rest of the continent is essentially allies/neutral or easy pickings for later.
I think wars are not the only problem the econemy right now is insanely limited Brews arnt a thing right now Fishing is just :P Since there are no fish and brews people have no other choice then xp and mining Xp isent worth it anymore since it was overproduced Since most people mine now, all the caves are empty and since the prices are lowerd and haste brews arnt a thing, you make less and less money of mining and its just gotten worse and worse making the main "game play loop" extreamly tedious and boring making most players quit or just make problems since they have nothing else to do.
completely agree, but haste brews wont make mining more worth it as unlike eldham and rathnir the cave gen is the new shit which sucks for strip mining
Honestly, preclaiming and the botched server launch that led to it caused a lot of significant problems for different nations on the server. I know of several smaller nations that got kicked out of preclaims under threat of war in the first week or so of the server. The Comet Empire is probably a good example on the other end. It basically ended up being a new hype nation that lost most of its people and had nobody. Then it's leader left, and now it's pretty much a dead zone.
Very well thought out video! It really helps put these events into context, and how turmoil can come with little to no external aspects. Glad you could stop by my farm (though it's a bit more urban nowadays), and I can't wait to start at the Ikkan college as a professor
Former Adramis dude here (I owned Nucifera and the neutral zone of the continent at the start)! The Adramis problem really started from overcrowding with entire nations immigrating in after we had already established a bunch of agreements. For some context, as the server was still waiting to get launched, the Coalition of Adramis formed and we quickly went to discord war with Beepeck and had Beepeck as a collective enemy. Once I got Beepeck kicked out of the continent by talking to Dyshella, one of their allies and an old friend of mine, we no longer had a collective enemy and were left to vie over the continent which we had successfully conquered before the server even started. As nobody was actually well established in the server, we had no collective enemies, there was discord drama brewing from former enemies, and Gertek wanted to gobble up more land than what we gave them (which they asked for), that just led to the entire alliance falling apart. Probably also didn't help that Gertek wanted to war everyone before all the drama too. I left the continent before things got quite so divisive as I didn't have time to do constant discord politics and run a nation, though it was definitely brewing silently for a while. The day after I left, war threats started getting thrown around by Gertek after some pointless raiding from both sides (which were not official sides yet). And here the situation still is! Though it has calmed down a lot from then. There's my take on it :)
Heard about all the stuff over on Adramis, coming from Northern Cathelet (I love Gardenia!!!) and honestly it's a bit sad because Adramis has some cool nations going on there and it's a shame that all discord pvp is going on. Personally for me it's almost been the opposite, there's been very little conflict over territory while we all sort out our differences--in fact I think we might be on track for something proper soon. But yeah Adramis is a shitshow and it's gonna be so bad when wars drop.
@@VenipherKash Glad to hear it’s going well in Cathelet. I hope it gets better in Adramis, I have some old friends who are still clinging on to it. Things are going well where I moved, only had one political controversy but we settled that in game with raids and some military parading. Best wishes from Sakravir ❤️
Las Vides did split up into Las Vides and Sventisimo. I made a yt short about it, but not much info in it. It basically fell a part when Mox left his position as Cheif. Now atm Las Vides is being rebuild in some way.
discord diplomacy is pain, my nation is right next to another who has like 5 ppl but surrounds us, so we can't expand much. to solve this, the leadership tried to delete one of their claims for snaking, but it was disorganized and THEY DID NOT ASK FOR THE NATION TO JUST REMOVE THE PROBLEMATIC CLAIMS FIRST. and then the biggest nation in the region took the side of the small one and now we're extremely diplomatically isolated in our region.
Nah I feel the "bigger nation sides with small claim" thing cause that's literally what happened to us too We own a mushroom island that was hell on earth to keep control of because like 4 different people tried making their own claims on it, one already being allied with a big empire (from another continent !!!) and another later being acquired by one
There was a new song that appeared only one time in the game while I was playing as the Romans right after the reform. I still can't find it anywhere 😢
