We just booked the Dreams resort next door for late March.. Kids are beyond excited about the waves and surfing. We go the the NJ shore and swim in all kinds of conditions but I get concerned about RIP currents is that something we should be worried about?

Há banhistas que ficam muito tempo brincando de costa para o mar, de repente, vem várias ondas, e derruba-o. Este video es bueno, si bien omite algunas cosas. Primero: ni siquiera salvavidas experimentados son capaces de salir en contra de una corriente de resaca sin auxilio motorized. Segundo: ni se te ocurra ir a buscar cualquier objeto llevado por una corriente de resaca Tercero si nadas poco o nada, no podras salir por mas que mantengas la calma. Por lo tanto, manten la calma, pero grita fuerte mientras estes cerca aun
Cuando fuia a Rio de Janeiro el primer dia en la playa, un nino me pidio que la vaya a buscar su pelota. Resulta que se la estaba llevando la corriente de resaca. Yo no sabia nada de ellas, pero note que nadaba muy rapidamente hacia adentro. La pelota en cuestion se alejaba rapidamente, y cada vez que estaba cerca, se me alejaba mas y mas y mas. Finalmente pude alcanzarla, y cuando guire para volve, vi que la playa eran puntos diminutos de gente! Me aferre a la pelota y volvi pataleando y Sali en la otra esquina de la playa. El nino en cuestion, que tendria unos Cinco anos recupero su pelota, si bien, fue reprendido por su madre. Moraleja: no te arriesgueis para sacar cualquier objeto del agua, sea quien sea quien te lo pida
Excelentemente bien explicado , eso deberia parte de una campaña constante de las autoridades turisticas para prevenir accidentes lamentables. Mis felicitaciones a la joven , muy buen ttabajo.

Nice informative video, Thanks! I will be coming down in February 2023 and I'd love to surf without a wetsuit. The water is almost always cold where I surf here in Nova Scotia, Canada. I'm a beginner surfer even though I have been trying for 5 seasons. I started at age 54 and I only get out about 5-6 times a year. I've been here before at the end of an excursion with Bavaro Runners way back in 2010. Our tour guide was "Jackie Chan" and our excursion ended up at Macao Beach. They had boogie boards for us to try but I couldn't get it going in the conditions of that day. I also didn't have fins to paddle the boogie board ( poor excuse, I know...lol ) Looking forward to checking out the breaks when I get there. Excelente información! Ojalá las personas se informaran antes de ir a playas! En Guatemala ha habido muchas tragedias por esas corrientes, acá se conocen como alfaques, por el simple hecho de no poder ni reconocerlos 🥺

You can surf pretty much year-round, with rare completely flat days in the Summer. A wet suit is never needed as the water temperature is rarely below 24•C
