Pechaa sambhal,Most people however, take about three surfing lessons to learn to surf. It should be noted too that truly learning to surf is a life long pursuit, however if you can catch a wave by your self then you have learned the basic and muchneeded first step.

board for a average height beginner would be between 8ft and 9ft.. This size would have plenty of volume to enable you to catch waveseasily and therefore have a much better time out surfing.

Absolutely! Only move to shorter boards when catching waves with a bigger board becomes too easy on not exciting! :)

I sent a message on your website and I'm looking for info on your rental board length, the cost of a rental, and the cost of rental with an instructor as I don't surf alone and it would be nice to hear some pointers on my technique. completely possible to learn surfing on your own provided you are a persistent person, you have decent arm and leg strength and balance skills, you are willing to learn thesurfing etiquette, and you have able to learn in a safe, beginner-friendly beach spot with small waves and low currents.

Improve,Big wave surfing is a discipline within surfingin which experienced surfers paddle into orare towed onto waves which are at least 20 feet (6.2 m) high, on surf boards known as "guns" or towboards.
