Most of the boss movesets in Yakuza 3 were ripped from Virtua Fighter 5 characters. Now they mostly only reuse or make new movesets entirely. So now they're often highly telegraphed and slow, like bosses in other games, rather than being almost equal with the player.
@@avidsatanist I could see this argument for people Kenmochi and Akutsu, who do have very slow movesets, but even then the only bosses that really have slow movesets in recent times are people who reuse weird slow movesets or characters that I feel make sense having slow unique movesets, that being they're either super powerful or unskilled. Like I would say the final boss of Gaiden's first phase and third phase moveset is pretty quick, nishitani 3 is kinda weird in that sense but he's not really slow. You could say someone like Soma is slow but it's not really that he's slow or fast, it's more so that he's defensive. I will say there is some basis for movesets made in the dragon engine being slower, but I feel like the dodges in the dragon system at first make sense for these moves considering they feel like you travel slightly less and feel like they give you less i-frames.
Remember that when you will make moveset videos for Lost Judgment that both Yagami and Kaito have 4 running attacks and unique throws during EX mode activation (except for Boxer style). While leapfrog and wall jump have only 3 attacks for all styles. Kiryu in Gaiden has only 2 running attacks in both styles.
Sometimes i think that zombies not so brainless when they communicate with emotes and use their voice to point out something. One time i heard "I think we got a brains!" from soldier when he spawned. Foot soldiers is one of my favourite characters (still love medics like cute sunflowa and goofy scientist).
while Majestic Dispersal and Luxury and Splendor may be the most useful Heat Actions, The Bloody Wheel has a special place in my heart due to the whistling cue before the strike ❤
His ps2 moveset was way much cooler He can change between High stance and low stance and the very low stance It sucks that his 2 styles were removed and only used ito high stance
I do figure the Ishin movesets don’t get recognized as much since it’s not as played and the original game never got localized in the west. Though you will see where the movesets came from if you’ve played any of the games that reuse Ishin movesets, which is pretty much every game from 0 onward.
@@MadDogSolo I know that in Gaiden a few Ishin movesets are reused. Toshimaro’s club moveset is reused for a Kijin clan midboss wielding a sledgehammer during the Castle escape long battle. Takechi’s Wild Dancer phase is used by the Kazuma Kiryu-esque Man (aka Fake Kiryu) in the Coliseum and main story.
@@Ebb-2000 Now that the pirate game has been announced, I can bet they’ll recycle Ishin movesets and newer DE sword movesets (Someya, Murase, etc.) maybe some Kenzan ones too if they really want to mix it up, though I don’t really expect them because Kenzan stuff hardly gets reused.
