As a Believer and Woman of Faith, I want to see women of all ages, races, and backgrounds move forward in Faith, "Riding their Ride" Can-Am Spyder's and Rykers. Taking a stand against FEAR, False-Evidence-Appearing-Real, and anything that would set itself up against Riding the Good Ride of Faith on the open road.
Hi! My name is LaShaun (LA), to those that know me well. I'm new to the Can-Am Roaster community but not to the body of believers. Here at, Adventures of Fearless Faith Channel, you'll enjoy moto vlogs, product reviews, inspirational ride videos of encouragement, and all things related to FAITH, FAMILY & FREEDOM.
Faith Policy: This RU-vid Channel is covered by Psalms 91 and enforces Proverb 26:4. Therefore, cyber bullies and keyboard warriors cannot breathe here - Psalms 118:6 YOU! have NO! Authority or Power in this space.
Houston traffic can be intimidating even in my car, let alone my Sea-to-Sky, so I love tip #1. I might add make your bike conspicuous! I have an angel painted on mine along with the galaxy. My favorite 2 times to ride on the interstate are a Saturday morning in April and a Saturday morning in October when they close the interstate down and we all ride with a LEO escort to benefit faith-based recovery houses. Thanks for the wonderful tips and expertly-edited video. Be safe!
What a word your husband gave you! I’ve watched your videos from the start, hoping to benefit from your experience and learn from your mistakes, you have not disappointed ❤ Seeing the bad, but focusing on the good was a gem. #BLESSINGS
Yes he did! He balances me out ⚖️🤭 and thank you for your kind words. That's what this channel is all about. Encouraging, inspiring can giving you fuel for your faith... it is my prayer to always be a light of hope to everyone that enters into this space 🙏🏽
Although I don't know you, I love you and your spirit and your faith in our God. I am happy to have found your channel as I start out on my new adventure at 72 with my CanAm spyder RT. I just got her 2 days ago. My very first experience on a bike. You have inspired me on so many levels, and I thank you for that. My husband is thrilled that I made the choice to ride. I am going to take some baby steps til I am comfortable with riding before taking a trip. We will be doing some 2 lane back road riding first. Thanks for all your input on riding and for building my confidence. I maybe old in years but young at heart and I'm going to keep on keeping on.
@@anitaward4406 and this is what it's all about. You are the reason why this channel was created. Because I wanted a safe space for women to be encouraged, inspired and to see that Faith being pushed forward over fear. In Spite of everything crazy that's going on in our world. This is a beautiful time for women who are daring to be brave, women who have decided to throw caution to the wind, while casting their burdens and cares upon Him who loves them. And oh how he loves us... That he would give us the honor and the privilege of riding on the open road... And it matters not the age that we start this beautiful recreational moto activity.... we started! 🕷️ Mrs. Anita, thank you for your kind words... they made my eyes sweat 😭 and please keep me posted on your journey. You can reach out to me on the adventures of fearless Faith blog or the adventures of fearless faith private Facebook group. Again, thank you so much for your kind words... Ride safe✌🏽Stay in Faith🙏🏽
Thank you for this video, I am thinking about purchasing a Can Am Spyder but one of my fears is riding on the interstate or the highways, I think it's the fear the speed and then the other cars, especially 18 wheelers in the open air. Just a question? With the Can Am riding courses, do you have to own a Can Am to take one of these courses or does Can Am provide their own vehicles to use for those classes?
Great question! Bikes are provided for the class. Mainly Rykers because they are the bike they push because of their price point. However, they will have a few Spyders Rt, Spyders Ft3 and maybe a sea to sky which is their top of the line Spyder. I did a tone of homework before the class….1st. Doing research on all the models they offered. Then deciding how I wanted to ride. I knew my husband and I wanted to “go yonder” as he like to call it, LOL … ride cross country. So, right away I knew I wanted the Spyder F3t… something sporty but with side cases for storage. Then I did a deep dive into RU-vid videos on how to start and ride Spyders, because there is a process, and I didn’t want to look like a complete newbie when taking the class. When the time came for me to take the 3 wheel riding class and I saw the Spyder f3t that I had decided on buying…I ran to it LOL! I had no interest in learning on something I wasn’t interested in buying and riding yonder lol I hope this help in your future purchase😊
@@adventuresoffearlessfaith Thank you for the reply! Great to hear Can Am provides the vehicles. I'm like your husband because that is what my intention is with the Can Am and that is to "go yonder" and go on nice long drives on winding roads or even take a road trip somewhere. I like the Spyder RT Limited and the Sea-to-Sky model and have been watching youtube videos as well but what I liked about your video is the fact that you're really the only one that talks about the fears and anxiety of riding on the interstates and it was great to see. I'm in my mid-50's so I want some comfort and getting one of these would just add a bucket list thing to do while I'm still fairly young. I know these are semi-automatic but i wonder Can Am is looking to make an automatic on the Spyders like they do with the Rykers.
You can do it! I was also afraid in the beginning, even after the class, but as the video encouraged, I braved the interstate a little at a time. Plus it helped to ride with someone. Find a good riding group. If you are in Houston there is a great 3-wheeler group.
@@debralarive excellent encouragement Debra! Riding with someone is always a great idea. It never hurts to have a mentor to help you navigate riding on the open road.
@@debralarive Thank you for this...I'm in the New York City area so you can imagine the fear! lol. I know it's tough for people to admit their fears but you worry more about the person who is driving the car or truck than yourself especially with a lot of bad drivers around. That being said, I cannot wait to get started, and I think that's great advise from both you and Faith and that is to find a good riding group and have a mentor.
Awwwww Mr. Sam thank you so very much...that means a lot 🥲 as a content creator yourself I know you can sympathize and understand the struggles as content creator face on the regular when it comes to editing. The devil does not take a day off when it comes to what we do...BUT GOD! I hope to meet you one day Mr. Sam! So we can talk about the goodness of God and the open road 😍🙏🏽🕷️
@@adventuresoffearlessfaith the feeling is mutual sis. Would love to meet y'all. I need to get with you on the editing with this new camera that I have. I'm trying to get the hang of this insta360 app which I hate. Love the camera. Hate the app. You seem to be doing well with your editing with it.
Yes it's been HOT hasn't it?! I ran down to AR this weekend and at one point we had to stop on the highway for over an hour waiting on a big semi accident to be cleared. At one point the Spyder said 113 degrees. Of course some of that is the heat coming off the bike, but still it was HOT! Stay hydrated - sounds like you really need to be careful with that!
Yes! Indeed. They're doing another chapter vacation ride to Sturgis! Leaving out in July for 16 days...SHE! Ain't doing that one 🤣🤣🤣 And it's breaking my heart. I want to see that area with my husband so very much. I plan to drive my car and follow them, but 500 miles in a car by myself with their interests being only and chasing coins for the Harley-Davidson dealerships.... That's not going to be to enjoyable for me..
Everyone's on Sena's for the duration of the chapter ride. The first part of the video when you hear my husband and I talking was the sena mesh port red com system that works with my GoPro 12
Don't you love those early morning starts?! I just did a 750-mile weekend and we left about 4:30am. Not a huge fan of riding in the dark but I sure do like the cooler mornings before it gets HOT. You'll get all the video/editing figured out - God's got you! Ride safe both of you and have fun.
Finally paid attention to it 🤦🏾♀️🤣 definitely worth the money. We still got to work on tightening up the suspension with getting a shocks... That's the next upgrade. But I wasn't getting thrown around on my bike at all... Again riding the tail of the dragon was a new experience for me so I wasn't going crazy on it, but the turns in the curves were very tight and controlled. It definitely smoothes out the ride.
Happy Sunday Faith family! I hope you all are doing well and being blessed. Listen, life if good no matter the circumstances or situation…I’m learning that as I navigate my way through learning this new editing software called da Vinci resolve. it’s been stressful trying to edit these videos and show you the adventure God allowed me too have on my 1st vacation chapter ride out of Texas. So bear with me. Growing is not easy, but it’s worth it….end joy!
@@adventuresoffearlessfaith well, they were riding erratically , leaving their riding buddies, blocking traffic, riding so bad one person was clipped by a car and knocked off his Ryker and ran into another rider. Thats what I heard. By then I had pulled off and left the group, I am not a fan of Rykers . I think people really need to know how to ride in groups , know hand signals before riding together.
@@irideadarkhorse9979 🤭 wow! so it’s not just me then. Back when I got my bike, as a new rider I started looking for a tribe. A Spyder group I could possibly ride with. I fell down the rabbit hole, watchin inter-city Rykers ryders and Spyders ryders on RU-vid and my mouth hit the floor 😳😬🫣I could not believe how bad, reckless… dare I say dangerous the riders were. Speeding, blocking traffic, cutting other riders off… it was a free for all. But as a comic would say “that wasn’t the part that behooved me” what behooved me was the comment section. Nobody! And I mean not one single solitary person commented on the reckless behavior. Everyone was an approval and was in full agreement on all of the reckless foolishness. This confirm why one of my fellow wind sister who ryders a Spyder, only ride with Harley’s… as her husband was the director of the chapter I now ride with. And that’s the key… find a good chapter to ride with and open your mind and heart to learn. Have a teachable spirit and you will grow and become a safe ride. Our chapter consist of retired military pilots, active pilot, retired motorcycle police offers and riders with over 30 -40 years of riding experience. We also attend yearly the Harley Davison’s ROC leadership conference and workshop, which keeps our leadership skills sharp, making sure safety in our local chapter Is priority 1. Sadly, it’s riders and groups like the one you experience that give organized, experienced group rider a bad wrap😢
@@adventuresoffearlessfaith I hate to sound like a separatist. I only did that ride because someone that I knew was new and it was a total catastrophe. I basically ride with one person, I ride a bike. Someone’s occupation doesn’t concern me when we are riding, just ride safe. I dont ride a Ryker I was just supporting, two wheels all day and it doesn’t depend on the brand. Safety to me is paramount especially when you are riding something that has the width of a small car. I think they are pretty cool, I am not interested in riding one. Just be safe and ride like you have some semblance of sense. It’s always the person that is hit by the person thats riding like an idiot that dies and not the idiot.
Yes I have... Especially the warrior foundation would love to do some work with them. Our chapter does a lot of volunteering with victory for veterans here in Texas.
@@adventuresoffearlessfaith I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to go on two rides with the road warrior foundation. I’ll keep you in the loop on up coming rides and routes they are traveling on .
Stay safe and have a great ride vacation , we are getting heat wave this week in Canada. We are getting 104 f... oops that will be bad ....not much riding in this weather. Alain & Yellow
WOW! Yeah Texas riding is tuff! The next chapter ride our chapter is doing is to Sturgis... One group is chasing Harley-Davidson coins and the other group is going just for tour touring and riding. I on the other hand will not be making that trip.... For one, they will be riding at least 500 mi a day and second the heat in July and August is brutal 🥵🔥🔥🔥.... And that's the sad... To get to that beautiful part of the country to ride, we have to suffer through the Texas heat. Getting out of Texas which is anywhere from 3 to 4 days of riding. And if we wait till our weather is at least cool enough then it's snowing in that part of the country 🤦🏾♀️
Enjoyed riding along with you to....congratulations 🎉 graduate....busy busy summer and yes this year we rode to Wisconsin for lunch on IFRD...although I was in the cage with and another rider on blocking and assist. Nxt I'll ride😊
It's dope, it's inspiring to me to let go of my bike. I'm on the fence with keeping it or trading it in, but seeing that you let go of your bike is real inspiring.
Isn't it sad that Can Am is such a great ride, but they just can't seem to find a marketing niche?! At least here in the USA. And yes finding good service locations and dealers can be real hit and miss. Be diligent, put it in His hands, have run, and ride safe!
As a professional videographer/editor, Ryker rider, I am EXTREMELY impressed! Super clean audio, beautiful creative video, very clear voice, and just everything great! I really enjoyed watching. Thank you!
Whoa😳🥲 oh my😭 if you only knew…. 🤦🏽♀️ your compliment really made me reflect on my journey. You know when your “in it” editing footage and trying to make sure you capture the essence of why we ride, it hard to see how far you have come from knowing nothing at all. But it also trusting the God that has given me an assignment in creating this channel. All credit goes to Him🙏🏽 thank you so much for your kind words… I really needed that. As I’m presently transitioning from Adobe Premier element to da Vinci resolve… the learning curve is really testing my faith.😭
Good video kind of bummed. I found this video after ordering a tire online. James was posting on one of the websites talking about that tire I live outside of Austin was going to drive down to Houston but I didn’t know he owned the shop so I decided to see if I could find a tire shop to put the tire on and I was gonna take it off myself Wish I would’ve saw this video before that. I would’ve just drove it down to Houston.
Sorry, hubs, but Can-Am's have been around since 2008 I believe so yes, someone could have that many miles...my 2018 that I purchased at the end of 2019 and didn't ride until 2020 has 76,000 miles on it. My hubby's HD has 77,000 on it and it is also a 2018. My 2018 still has the original belt and no issues. As I said in a previous comment, I believe I've had 4 sprockets total (three before the recall).
Agree. I think they push it alright...sales...and then who knows? I ride 250 MILES for service because I trust THAT dealer. I've leaned to do my own oil change. I'm just gonna say it...Can-Am needs to step up their game in some ways...love my ride for sure but there is room for improvement. I sit at my dealer during service and see the same DRAB Can am clothing that has been there for the past year. I have a Can-Am rain coat and a crew neck sweatshirt...both men's and they are BORING!! Sorry...did not intend to rant lol...
Good eye👀 😂 and yes! You are so correct... As a matter of fact.... The clip I edited out, you hear me discussing the fact that I forgot my gloves cuz we were rushing out😬 but you are so correct.... A few miles can make all the difference... But thank God for covering my foolishness with His faithfulness🙏🏽
