@SpyderMinimalist and @SpyderWayne had some good vantage points in their videos. Sorry you didn't see much. I couldn't get out on the Spyder but it did get significantly darker here in Missouri
Yeah! We're a lil bummed... But that's TEXAS! There is never a happy medium in the lonestar state... We're either hot or cold, so that meant we were either going to see it or not see it 😂
We had blue skies and a spectacular view on our back porch. Blue skies that went grey as the eclipse started. Then the street lights came on and the skies turned into night and we saw stars and planets. And of course, the total eclipse was simply awesome. Then, a thought crossed my mind: Obi-Wan Kenobi saying "That's no moon!". And then came a sliver of very bright light. And slowly, daylight returned.
