Gracias por este video!!! Estoy pasando por algo similar… el primer examen (double marker test) me salió RIESGO MEDIO de anomalías genéticas, pero el ultrasonido salió todo bien gracias a Dios. Pero los médicos me están presionando a que me haga el examen genético para determinar si hay algún problema o no. Pero son muy insensibles con las embarazadas porque no te explican nada sobre el margen de error ni la posibilidad de que ese examen no quiera decir nada en realidad. A mí me salió alta la proteína esa PAPPA también que entiendo que puede estar asociada a problemas con la placenta después, pero NUEVAMENTE, tampoco quiere decir nada. Así que gracias!!! Porque de esto hay que hablar más! ❤🇵🇷

This happen to me last Monday and my husband found this video. I got the results on my chart Saturday that the maternity 21 came back negative! I was in shambles when I found out this test is very dangerous for some people because I know with God I would of thought the unthinkable. I can’t imagine the women that have had a abortion over this test because they got scared.

Esa enfermedad es de lo peor a mí me pasó, mis manos y pies primero se ponía rojo después fue todo el cuerpo parecía que tenía insolación y hasta me ardía no podía dormir así estuve 29 días y hasta las pastillas que me medicaban no servía porque igual era la picazón; pero mi niña no tuvo esas complicaciones y eso que primero pesaba 2.500 y cuando nació tuvo 2.735 no la pusieron en encubadora, ahora mi niña tiene ya 2 meses y me miró mis piernas y tengo las marcas de todo lo que me rascaba de la desesperación 🥺🥺

It’s not “false positives” though. It’s just telling you there is a higher risk. You have to know that going in and then so the next testing steps.

I just had the news from my husband today that 30% my baby has a down syndrome. so my result was 1-70 the lower risk was 1-100 , so tomorrow I will be having another test I believe it is genetic test. I just hope and pray that just like you it will be false positive result because right now I'm so worried and emotional already 😢

I’m 17 weeks pregnant and had a positive trisomy 21, I’m going through exactly y’all went through. I keep doing and doing research and came up to this video. My mind is everywhere. I’m glad I’m not the only one that goes through this.

Always get a second opinion! Years ago in my early pregnancy, doctor told me the fetus had stopped growing and he suggested I had a DNC done at the hospital. When I asked about the possibility of it being too soon, he said no and assured me I would have a miscarriage. I told the doctor I didn't believe in abortion and he reiterated, don't get your hopes high. You are not going to have a baby. I still decided to wait until I returned from my vacation, 2 weeks. 3 weeks later when I returned to the doctors office, after my ultrasound, he said, "looks like your going to have a baby". My daughter was born very healthy and is now 21, thank God!

I am going trough the same. I got my result for trisomy 21 from two hormone blood test and it was high risk 1:120. I am going for NIPT on Feb 16th. I really hope this is false positive because I have heard a lot of bad things about these tests 🙄

It's been years after this video is out. I am in the similar situation as you. My blood test came back as intermediate risk for ds. It was 1:480. This video gave me hope. My amniocentesis test is scheduled for next week and I am scared for by little peanut. It's like I am alone even though there are lots of people with me supporting..

In my NT scan the fluid came out to be increased which indicates the baby might have down syndrome. I have given my blood test lets see what the results are. I can feel you, it is like a nightmare. I can only think about this the entire day. I am 30 this is my first one I really don't want to lose this baby.

My blood test is high risk in Down syndrome 1 in of 5.then the midwife call me my nipt test is high risk too.i wanna try the amniocentesis but scared about the result.pls pray for me the baby is normal nd healthy

I’m 38 I have 8 kids and I’m pregnant, never had a positive blood test with any of my kids, they were all healthy, but I got a 3% chance positive test with this one. Don’t know what that means but I have been crying non stop all day. I hope I have the results you guys have because I couldn’t do it, I don’t have the strength.
