Hi. It's like any other vehicle when it comes down to fuel type. You'll get more miles out of diesel. Depending on year there are some limitations. If you're looking at a JL (current model) the 2018-19 were only 2.2 multi jet turbo diesel, and now they're only 2.0L turbo petrol. Years in between you could get both. Older models such as the JK it's mostly 2.8 CRD turbo diesel you'll find, unless you happen to find a US import. But if you do, that would be a 3.6 V6 and very thirsty.

16:18 is a tough technical climb! Done it in a Freelander with Insa's on but it was a challenge. Even coming down in a Jimny needed spotting. Well done guys.
Just installed and RR really needs to fix their instructions. The LED fog lights in facts doesn’t use that bracket. Yet instructions say too. Also the plastic tabs were more of a issue then help on the last two bolts. Also the striker bar was about the easiest to install. After all was done and hours of work with the bolts. It’s a really nice bumper and I love it. Rugged Ridge just needs to work on the instructions. Ty for your video.
Hi. Does the 2 door JL kits run different rates in the springs and shocks compared to the 4 door kits. I’m running a 2door 21 rubicon. Do I need a front correction bracket for the tracking bar.(panrod). Will it also net a 3 inch lift. I was preferring 2.5 inches. Our 2 door sports and 2 door rubicon both 21 models only have 10mm height difference all round standard with the same 255/75r17 bfg goodrich MT fitted with the rubicon being higher. Not much difference. Not ours anyway.
Great video. I can't help but agree with the comments on TW2. Good service but could be much better. Improved filters and the possibility of an app would be very useful, not so much for navigation but more to have it handy on the go, check comments, and also uplaod reports whilst out on the lanes etc.
Just watched this again (yup, that good 😃). It looks like your JL has a different steeri g set up to some of the ones on smaller tyres. It looks lime a larger damper that is sitting below the tie rod, with the more stock JLs having a smaller one sitting above the tie rod. Is that right? If so, is it covered in any of your videos?
Great video and nice touch to dedicate it to Jim. I was disappointec not to be able to make it last year and really pleased to see the 2023 event will be back at the same venue and this time held over a weekend. RIP Jim.
