It's hard to say which is better. Both are a masterclass in pairing a score with a story. In the end, however, Williams' score was not just for a film. It pairs with Superman in all media in all times.
I like Snyder's Man of Steel. It shows Kal El in turmoil whether to do the right thing, knowing Earthlings or most of them would be envious of his kryptonian heritage and ability.
Christopher Reeve's theme explains how people feels about superman And Henry Cavill's theme explain how superman Himself feels. Thanks to both John Williams and Hans Zimmer for there unforgettable works. [Personally I like zimmer's version. ]
I'll gladly take both John Williams and John Ottman over both Zimmer and X.L. any day and everyday. All that Zimmer ever did was precisely hybridize some of his prior works and forcefully rework it; and X.L. simply obliged and followed his example, denying his own instincts, if he even has any anymore. The Remote Control Productions monopoly disgusts me. All they had to do was take Williams' foundation and give it the *Crimson Tide* treatment. But no, no, no, they just had to deem it "irrelevant" and toss it out the window. That's a croc of B.S. and the biggest mistake of their whole career. I lost all respect for them from there. Makes them worth publicly ridiculing.
@@orangenostrilInception, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, The Peacemaker, The House of the Spirits, Point of No Return, Drop Zone, and The Lion King.
Williams pieces are great in your face music blasts that make the scenes. Zimmers are epic background pieces that emphasize the action going on and push the scenes.
I've seen both and honestly imma bigger fan of the 2012 version, more realistic story line, I like the cgi is completely brilliant, the 90's one is completely farfetched, the 2012 one is like way more boss than the 90's one Also I really enjoy seeing ideas of what the world will become, but mutants, life on Mars made possible by a giant fan like really that's the stupidest shit I've ever seen, I will say the acting in the original was on point but the acting and with the glorious cgi makes the 2012 version the clear winner on my eyes
Watching remake first time in 2021😆. Couldn't finish the movie. They took 10% from the original movie and made a totally different story. Boooo!!!! 👎👎👎👎remake is so lame!!!!
Classic gives vibes of inspiration wonder and amazement and compassion. New version gives vibes of strength courage and possibilities and hope. I say use them both in a film but at different times
