Thanks for this. Ive just tested demo club i bought and got these numbers aprox 30 shots and deleted 4 p7mc mmt105s ball 120.8 club 93 spin 6343 174carry landing 47.5 37yards peak height.
Not bad eh... Little higher in peak height and landing angle than I'd like in raw data but if your looking to land the ball with loads of control, you're in good shape What's currently in the irons?
I230 but they are power spec. Want to reduce the lofts. Tried the accra tzi 115x today was really nice felt abit more stable than the mmt 105s but still nice.in the handle. Axiom I felt like the 105s touch light but the 105x a touch to firm. Also the accra tzi didn't seem to flip over on me
@nellynelson9387 ooooooooh the Accra shafts are sexy ...I've got one in a spare hybrid and it's a beast of a club ...one day I'll be able to do videos on em haha 😄
What are the ideal numbers for an indoor fitting? Will be using a 7 iron for the fitting today im 92-95 mph with my 7 iron aprox 3-4 down and 2-0 in to out
Angles look good to me 👍 looking for 5500-6500 spin, peak height 99ft is a soft guide for me, easiest to be higher and bring it down with loft/model/shaft 5500 backspin will go further 6500 backspin will stop quicker (Can use the golf ball to fine tune this) This may help as well :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oLsUzHelUTQ.html
i like your vids, please find a way to show the digital graphics from the computer onto the video itself instead of just showing it from the camera. hard to see some of the numbers and dispersion charts
In data, yes, but not in feel :) ....A larger pool of data would generally be more fades/right with the C Taper as it's so much heavier ...Once you use the same shaft for a while you dial in to the feel of it.. while I'm flicking from one to another constantly, with such a difference in weight, I'm battling the feels each shaft presents :) but yes, quite close in launch! The Axioms play stiffer than they say
How do these compare to modus 105 and 120? I’m currently gaming modus 120s but feel bit heavy. I’ve hit 105s Axiom and feels nice but haven’t tried 105x or anything heavier in axiom. Or should I try modus 105s
Could be worth trying the Modus 105, have you got anywhere you can test em out together? ...these vids may help: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-E3KHtt5-AQY.htmlsi=6RJYIAs1HXCiHOhl ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-K3iHzs6rrao.htmlsi=MKnYv2Ha2F0Bm0ix
I wouldn't recommend on swing speed alone: I pulled a tendon in my hand and thought I'd go lighter just for the golf course ....put a 5S to good use at 110-114mph ....Found it really easy to hit a draw - dabbled with a 5X, 6S and 6X back at the studio to compare and gradually got harder to draw I need to record that tbf ...There has been a launch of the Velocore+ Black and Red ....I'll have the Black in my demo kit and get some more extensive videos out asap 👌
Cheers Freddie, excellently explained but thankfully for my wallet we found little difference between the recoil Dart and the Axioms when I was down. Now if I work on my swing speed……..
I'd love to get involved with the Accra line up ..Just haven't got the cash to commit to their first batch order to be a stockist! I got approved but didn't have the dollar bills handy... Soon!
@FredzGolf don't be daft really appreciate you doing the comparison. So taking away what you have said basically the axiom weight for weight flex for flex is just abit more stable. I really like the idea of it being a right sided setup too not as easy to turn over. My miss is a hook. The place I had a fitting with called me up and rebooted me for another fitting at different site free of charge so get to try them both again. I'm playing the project x lz 6.0 in my I atm seem ok really nice feel but. Something abit easier on the joints but as stable would be nice. Thanks for doing the comparison. I'm in Manchester so will try and get down for a fitting or something when I'm down south
It's growing bud :) ...I was thinking as I was editing there's so many little side bets going on here! Was happy to see it mentioned within 20 minutes too hahahah ...thank you mate!
Similar affect, with a bit of progression... It was a while ago that I did that video ...since then I've chosen to just tiger step my most lofted wedge to get the benefits in greenside spin/feel and dispersion but normalise the other wedges with shafts that match the irons or stock wedge shafts , depending on the golfer and budget etc
I was actually coming into the comment section to ask if it would be worthwhile to blend pro and cb. I need a little help with hit direction on longer irons, whereas I'm generally tight with dispersion on shorter, albeit all one way way off or all together. You're final remarks cemented my thoughts. Thanks!
Improvement after your advice to keep the head outside my hands. Still not sure about my choice of lightweight graphite shafts. Don’t be shocked if I turn up with another set of irons for your attention 😂
Wow. Brilliant video and really concise for having so much information and data in it. Nice balance of the data and the visual demonstration so we can take it in. Bravo. I hit a BIG slice - leave the face open massively. I've never seen this described or had this explained to me. Amazing tip there mate. Cant wait to take it to the course. 👍
Nice ...cheers for the feedback ...I don't blurt stuff out without evidence it works hehe ...I want people playing their best ahead of clickbait views (although if I can get both then that's a bonus)
I just swung just about all the new drivers at my fitting and the callway blew everything out of the water number wise. Most forgiving on off-strikes and gained 25 yards on my current driver
Top work!! Some really nice gains there... I reckon 3/10 people I give fittings to just have a massive burst in ball speed ...not everyone, granted, but it's so nice to find those boosts ...I had it myself with slapping the high toe on the Triple Diamond haha... maintained all flight more often!
Had to go 44.5" to get the Ping swingweight down, with their stock shafts, they counterbalance perfectly at standard length but I couldn't use a Ping shaft in the Callaway or vice versa :)
I’m playing the 10k at the moment. Stock black 2.0 driver stiff. Have hit it very well for the the most part. I’m quite negative angle of attack -4 or -5 spin it around 2800 to 3100. Ping seems to be the best equipped for a guy like me who will likely never have a neutral attack angle. Would like to try the Callaway though just to tinker. Never been a fan of the triple diamond. Maybe the max or max d
That makes a lot of sense to me :) the triple diamond tends to be better with upward angles of attack and high toe misses get rewarded somehow I'd gear towards the Max or Max D in a fitting with just that info ...I've seen a few high Spinners benefit from the Max D To be fair ...the Ping is a solid golf club ....I would go and buy one straight off the bat ...test one against your own to curb any curiosity if anything! 😜
@suprand I can't actually get my hands on one... only being supplied to the larger Callaway accounts! My callaway accounts is only 4 months old so I need to grow the RU-vid gig to get access next time they have something cool like that 😇
@@suprand I had last year's Triple Diamond. It was epic in the summer, a bit intimidating in the winter. I have a Ping 10K now with a Ventus and I'm not touching anything else unless it's 11K. I have a buddy with a Smoke Max. It's pretty sweet but definitely not as forgiving as the Ping 10K. I am playing it at 7.5 degrees teed way up and have a positive AoA with 2200 to 2400 spin.
Yes, it does ....progressive tipping (as per tipping instructions) allows the shafts to get progressively easier from Wedges upwards so you get stability with lofted clubs and long irons still able to get airborne You can soft step where you tip less if you need the shaft to have a bit more play ...I wouldn't do that too much, though, as you may as well get a different shaft
Looking for higher ball flight. Purchased Aseries-high-65i-3. What are your thoughts on tipping 1/4 longer to LA's spects. Think that will give me the height I'm looking for. Got fitted for them with a 7 iron. Height was good would like a hair more.
@genescott3989 I'd go 0.5" less tipping than recommended if you haven't tipped already ... Tip trim: PW 2.75" 9i 2.5" 8i 2.0" 7i 1.5" 6i 1.0" 5i 0.5" 4i no tipping Fit them in from there and then do final lengths - I prefer to glue the heads on at this stage then cut to length once they're set (especially if the heads are used)
I have the Callaway AI Smoke Max and I also changed my weights. I really wasn’t going for the forgiveness factor but yet a lower spin comparable to the Tripple Diamond. I’ll say this, I gained extra on all aspects of maximizing a club. I wanted to utilize the “A.I.” face as much possible and I stumble on a hidden treasure 😂…. Not sure what’s the spect on ur shaft but I play with the Mitsubishi 1K White and I’m getting some impressive results👍🏾. I’m not a fitter by no means or am I a golf pro but, what I’ve done with my driver is hell of amazing to me!!! Btw, love the videos🤙🏾
Yeah I've seen a lot of benefits from a heavier weight in the Max ....the best combo is to reduce the length (which makes the club lighter swingweight wise) then add more mass to the head with a heavier weight ....tends to spike up smash factor which is cool! Cheers, I really like making them and it's good to get feedback 😁
