No clue who the tenor is but he is so tense I’m afraid his body will explode before thr end…and also not a fan of the eponine either. Ramin deserves better cast surrounding him. I touch myself everytime he sings alone…
I travelled to Monte Carlo for Christmas especially to see Phantom and was in the audience on 25th Dec. The entire cast gave a superb performance. We also enjoyed drinks at The Cafe de Paris where you're now sitting. Happy New year to you guys. xx❤
So grateful it was recorded I wanted to record it yesterday but had a technical problem I was very annoyed about it. I am now all the more pleased that I was able to see it after all THANK YOU SO MUCH🙏🏼😍🎉
I stayed in 97% of the and did not get Covid. I live alone and have family nearby. None of us got it but my daughter who is a school psychologist and had to work with some children.
I wouldn't think he would act this way in real life (he is usually very polite and civil), but to keep from being typecast as an actor he has to play a villain from time to time.
The modernized versions of Christine's and Meg's wigs are jarring to me, because they're too contrived, and not period-correct. They're straight hair that's been meticulously set into individual curls here and there, but it's still straight hair. I'm used to the original all-over-fluffy wigs, as worn by the ballet girls here, because I worked at the original Toronto production, during its first 2 years (1989-91). The Toronto production is the only one to have a blonde Christine and brunette Meg---when the alternate was on. It's also the only one with a special "Think of Me" cadenza, used only by Rebecca Caine. Ramin saw that production when he was a schoolboy, and decided that, someday, he'd play the Phantom.
