The mask makeup guy or someone said something along the lines of the phantom is trying to make himself look attractive and I’m like, Ramin is already gorgeous so the phantom has nothing to worry about
@@Leotastick Best to keep in mind that Ramin and Sierra have already appeared in Phantom, beforehand. Those two weeks were pretty much just a warm up to get back into the game.
Me too Every time I'm watching it I'm cracking up The triumphant look at his face when she starts 🤣 He looks so funny and cute when he's pointing at her
Imma be real- The music was amazing and the other singers were phenomenal, but I got into POTO because Ramin is just so, damn, attractive. Same thing happened with Daredevil and Charlie Cox- When my favourite character is hawt, I'mma be _in_ that fandom.
They are amazing singers and especially her as a dancer. I purchased a dvd because I didn’t see this performance, since I actually did once, but it was a different troupe in San Francisco, before my mom got terminal. My tinnitus is very much manageable so I was able to hear of Ms. Sierra Bogges using you tube. Completely won my heart with this breathtaking, commanding performance as Christine Daae. This is a performance like no other.
OMG I CANT BELIVE! You are going to look amazing, you are so special to get this part, i will send all my good thoughts for you. Because i’m a huge phan, i just want to say that there’s no right or wrong while doing this musical, and if i could say something that i would like to see, is the final lair really dramatic (like a combination of Sierra’s and Gina’s)
why does this video look like there is a much longer version of it and someone edited criss cross through the whole thing? is there an elaborate version of this as well? because this is too short to get even the tiniest glimpse of anything of this magnificent show.
The modernized versions of Christine's and Meg's wigs are jarring to me, because they're too contrived, and not period-correct. They're straight hair that's been meticulously set into individual curls here and there, but it's still straight hair. I'm used to the original all-over-fluffy wigs, as worn by the ballet girls here, because I worked at the original Toronto production, during its first 2 years (1989-91). The Toronto production is the only one to have a blonde Christine and brunette Meg---when the alternate was on. It's also the only one with a special "Think of Me" cadenza, used only by Rebecca Caine. Ramin saw that production when he was a schoolboy, and decided that, someday, he'd play the Phantom.
Don't know why they decided to give the phantom longer hair in the newer productions. Prior iterations were Valentino-esque and fit the period and style better, IMO. Also a streamlined mask that is fitting to the face looks better. The 25th Anniversary mask looked to angular and bulky. The mask should be smooth and contoured like the originals. I dislike when people mess with a good thing. "Improvements" actually can detract from the magic and chemistry of a production. That said, the actors did a great job in this production. This production cancelled out the fiasco of the 2004 movie.
Absolutely 💯!!! No one sings MOTN better than him. The way he clearly sustains all the long high notes is perfection. Those Welshman really are the naturally the most beautiful singers.
