hi there - thanks for your question. when your prop your head up on a pillow or a bolster, you allow your ribs to “soften” into the ground more easily. with this slight adjustment of the head and neck, you are allowing yourself to feel into the connection of the deep core more easily through your pelvis and along your abdominals that lay along the front of your spine. in this way, you are giving your neck and jaw have a chance to relax and release, which helps you breathe your way into more core connection. 🙏

@@rtljaja ahhh… i see. yes, sitting for long periods of time can definitely leave your spine, and especially neck feeling stiff. this particular flow is actually really great to do before or after bouts at the computer, because it opens up the armpits, which are a channel for flow, and, of course your shoulders! - which are definitely connected into your neck. you could even modify this while you work: simply stand, and slide your hands on your desk or table (if possible)! let me know how it goes for you, Ty! 🙏

hi there, friend! i found it comprehensive, and rather fun, especially as i already had a lot of experience with aerial fabric as well. the curriculum was clear and not overwhelming. the online aspect allowed me and my friend to practice on our own time and the lectures were clear and easy to absorb. so i guess it was a really full experience. AND there was a timeline, which helped to keep me on track. let me know how it goes for you!!

yes! the more you practice the more liquid your hips and knees will become. and also, you’ll simply be more familiar with the sequence. it’s a great one to get out of the computer mode! thanks for your share and yes enjoy and enjoy again!

ALL humans have pelvic floor muscles that can benefit from toning by gently and consciously lifting with the exhale. think of it less as an isolated “kegel” exercise and more of PART OF the pulling in of the abdominals. so yes - sense and feel that inward pull too!
