Drove home from work today and started seeing white steam , temp guage said cool , got around the curve and started steaming and car shut off. So I backed into someone's driveway , waited a while for it to cool down, poured warm water into the radiator and noticed it was all leaking out from the bottom corner. I'm hoping the engine shut down before it had a chance to do any serious damage. Fingers crossed.
Excellent article concise and to the point, no add'l fiddle faddleing. But I Recommend opening brake fluid reservoir and placing rags around to catch overflow when you compress pistons.
1:02.. A question..is there any other 10mm bolts like these that would fit elsewhere? I have 4 left over that I have to find where they go. i must have put wrong bolts in a place where these go. So i am taking manifold off. I must have mixed up bolts. But the truck starts. Is not leaking oil or fluid. But i do have an awful misfire. good oil pressure and no over heating.
my pulley bolt isn’t going in after putting new one in i took out the new and put the old on to see if it was different sizes and the old one did the same thing
excellant, I did all 3? on crown - now I’ll likely do all 4 here 2🖐, btw if that Pc of wood flonked off the engine or trans., would we be suddenly crushed, by a 700lb eng.&tranny?🤔
Fantastic repair video! Just completed the repair and wanted to note something. If you complete the repair and your sunroof won’t open/close, try lowering the glass a bit. I installed the glass flush with the roof and then once it was all hooked up, it tried to move but wouldn’t. Lowered the glass and it worked. Also don’t forget to reprogram the unit by holding the slide button for 10 seconds.
Tried it this week on a 2015 GLK 350. My battery positive terminal has several attached electronic boxes unlike other years. I carefully removed the positive cables with said boxes and replaced the battery. I did not use a jumper to maintain radio or other computer settings. Once installed, all systems and settings were functioning as normal. The additional electronic attachments to the positive cable, may have been a built in jumper. Thus, why all the settings were saved.
Pretty smooth, the only thing I would do differently is never have more than one hole open at a time. Space is very tight and it’s very easy and likely you will knock or drop something in there
Thank you so much!! This is the best car repair video on the entire youtube platform. Everything was well explained and clearly shown and simple to understand and the kit being the exact same as the one you used was a massive help as well! Me and my dad did it in around 4-5 hours! YOU ARE THE MAN!
@autorex, after a year of wrestling with my back right 07 Tacoma window (sporadically not rolling up down), I found this video. Took literally 10 minutes and fixed my issue. Thanks Rex!
Thank you so much!!!!!!! Never done this on my jeep before and with your instructions it only took me a couple of hours!!!!!! Pro tip: You can rent a pressure test pump from AutoZone.
My son and I reinstalled the sunroof 2013) following your instructions. Very good video. The roof won’t slide back though. What are the likely causes? It tilts up and closes. It drops down as it it will retract and the motor runs but can’t pull the glass back.
My brothers dodge charger 2020 alternator went out today, we bought the battery hoping that was it. We are going to change it out tomorrow thanks for the video
