Hello My name is emanuel, i also have spina befida and i admire you and how u deal with your disability. i understand how dealing with this disability is because i also have it and i also use leg braces too be able too walk. Just cause we have a disability doesn’t make us different, we probably can’t do what others do but we are still human. Keep up the good work sir.

i am 14 turning 15 and have spina bifida it was only discovered that i have it in 2019 and im very scared for what might happen to me in the future because of it i got surgery for it but i feel like my foot is getting more and more numb and i fear that i wont get a good chance at life because of it sometimes i get very depressed and start wish i was never even born because theres no point in me having a life if it wont be succesful however i do believe there is a chance i will get to have a good life one day.

Glad you’re doing well. 👍🏽 even though I walk, I also have walking challenges especially having a 2 yro who is really active, its hard to go out with him alone. Im afraid that one day he’ll run away from me lol so I do my errands when my fiance is at home.
Thanks JOEYVENTURING! That's great that your able to walk. For me I can only imagine have a kid at that age in my situation. That's good when your fiance is around so you can do what you need to do. I probably would be a lil scared myself lol. I've always wanted kids tho. Not sure at my age itll happen lol. Maybe if I find that someone special!
I'm assuming he knew the way I talk. My friend told me the price he pays will be the same as I would be paying from what the landlord told him. And yes I'm aware that prices goes up as time goes on
but did the guy even know you were black in the first place? you should have told the landlord what your friend said. also in each apt complex they always raise the amount of rent every 2 yrs.

I have spina bifida and in the past few years I have a pinch nerve near my spine. I have gone from walking with just knee braces to now using a wheelchair a lot of the time. I could have surgery but choose not to because of the risk. I know I can live a full and happy life even if I have go use my wheelchair most of the time. I pray you make the right decision for you.
Yes it's a very difficult situation I'm in. From reading your comment, its seems like we're in a similar situation with the walking ability decreased. I'm happy for the most part but also have my days especially here recently with this current situation I'm dealing with. Thanks I appreciate your advice!
Hey Anthony! That's such a tough situation to be in but I also growing up had an alignment problem with my body so I had to wear a body braces for a couple of hours through out the day and to sleep. Would a body brace be another option than surgery? If this surgery can get you wear you want to be with walking I think it would be worth it but still such a hard decision. I'm praying for you and you have my support!!😊❤💪🙏
Diamond it's got me so emotionally involved in this situation big time!!! I had braces most of my life and as time went on, those haven't been doing any justice. Its brought me to this point with this surgery situation that I have a really BIG decision that I have to make!! Do you have spina bifida occulta?Doctors diagnosed that to me when I was 24 years old.I am playing basketball,work out in gym.But I have back pain often.I am afraid of damaging my condition with lot of sport activities...If you have some advice ,I would be thankful.
I think no matter what insurance you have you have to advocate for yourself. Some doctors put more care into their patients then others no matter the insurance. You have to do what is best for you and speak up when you feel your not being treated right. I pray everything works out for you.

I have a mild cold. my son got it first then it was my boyfriend then me lol my bf got it the worst. Im glad it didnt go bad for me. I took those vitamin c gummies. they are a life saver when it comes to colds. I miss having a job. it keeps you busy.
Get them cranberry pills. They will help you keep balanced. Once I get a uti, I buy cranberry pomegranate. I hate just cranberry juice. But the other one tastes good.
