I have spina bifida and in the past few years I have a pinch nerve near my spine. I have gone from walking with just knee braces to now using a wheelchair a lot of the time. I could have surgery but choose not to because of the risk. I know I can live a full and happy life even if I have go use my wheelchair most of the time. I pray you make the right decision for you.
Yes it's a very difficult situation I'm in. From reading your comment, its seems like we're in a similar situation with the walking ability decreased. I'm happy for the most part but also have my days especially here recently with this current situation I'm dealing with. Thanks I appreciate your advice!
Hey Anthony! That's such a tough situation to be in but I also growing up had an alignment problem with my body so I had to wear a body braces for a couple of hours through out the day and to sleep. Would a body brace be another option than surgery? If this surgery can get you wear you want to be with walking I think it would be worth it but still such a hard decision. Diamond it's got me so emotionally involved in this situation big time!!! I had braces most of my life and as time went on, those haven't been doing any justice. Its brought me to this point with this surgery situation that I have a really BIG decision that I have to make!!
