Now, the reason why I enjoy stove gases is that I find them more reliable than electric ones, not because I find the item more conveniant or have warm memories with it, or find it glamerous. Please do an episode on how loud trucks are, it's ridiculous they aren't electric yet. Garbage day is THE loudest day BY FAR in my neighbourhood. First they get the garbage, then another truck gets cardboard, then another truck gets compost, then another truck gets large items, then another truck gets recyclables. It's stupid crazy.
It's actually also made naturally... Thus, "natural" gas. Your compost pile makes it. Are you going to stop composting? Or switch to an anaerobic digester to capture and use the natural gas your kitchen waste produces... To use for cooking (useful). If you burn it, it becomes CO2, a less shitty greenhouse gas. Man, I hate the "high end brands use these factories too!" narrative. 1. Most high end brands have lower end offshoots, like outlets. It's very common for higher end brands to have entirely different supply chains for things like outlet stores, off-price merchandise (TJ Maxx) etc. The Ralph Lauren you get at the Polo store may well not be the same Ralph Lauren you get at Ross. 2. It's very rare for brands to own all of their production facilities outright. Most apparel manufacturers also subcontract to other factories. Most brands have very little control over this. 3. If you're buying higher end clothing, and not just a stupid tee shirt that says "Gucci" on it, there's a good chance that it's ethically made. Quality usually speaks for itself. Highly skilled labor costs more. If you buy an $80 from Target there's zero chance that it's ethically made. Buying better is always the right option, and not something to shit on. That's like saying, "Climate change is inevitable so you may as well burn tires." *If you buy clothes for less than a Macy's price point, there is absolutely zero chance they're even remotely ethically or sustainably made. Period.* The better the quality though, the more likely it is that someone made a decent wage making that garment.
Well....when it burns it is pretty clean....and we should call anything that we find in nature that wasnt made by man natural.....methane is a gas appearing in nature as well and thats the part that burns instead of reaching the atmosphere....go ahead and try burning fuel oil, diesel, gasoline, or kerosene and you will find they are not as clean burning as natural gas....since it is much worse than co2 (doesnt burn) we should burn as much of the natural gas as we can to prevent it from causeing global warming
