As a cosplay mom I want to add - Maybe finding a trusted adult before the convention who goes there or lives nearby might be great Either family members that live nearby when the con is not near your home and you go without your parents. And don't be afraid to ask convention helpers when something is wrong. Yes, they have to do many things, but they're also there to make sure, that visitors are safe.
I am minor and am really in to cosplay but i am to scarred to say something; like mom can I buy a wig and colorful makeup for fun and you not ask questions. I am queer as hell and we r not in a like minded town as us, so coming out and being myself is so far away from an option that currently even starting to cosplay sounds terrifing. How do i start?
It was absolutely incredible getting to meet you in person on the walk back to the hotel. Thank you soo much for letting us get a picture, it was the highlight of our week and con! Don't apologize about being half out of cosplay, you looked absolutely stunning still. Thank you soo much for this experience it's one we shall look back on fondly for years and treasure. Congratulations on your award from the masquerade, and thank you for being a huge inspiration.
Aaaaahh!! Me and my friend were the subscribers who bumped into you on the walk back to the hotel! (I was the Freddy Fazbear girl lol) It was honestly so surreal getting to see and take a pic with you, definitely the highlight of my con day!! 💖🥺 And do not apologise for being half out of cosplay lol, I totally get it and you did indeed still look super cute! Thank you so much again!
Comic con was so fun and it was even more fun getting to see myself (the Rosie) and my friends (the Vox and Alastor) in your video! Sent it over to them right away so they can also enjoy your fun video!!!
OCC masquerade was a real blast this year! Was really fun to see you in it, your Rosie entry (and costume too) was simply amazing! Congratz again for your totally deserved award and thanks for showing that awesome footage & for your vlog in general! 🤩😁
Im cosplaying Nene yashiro from tbhk (I'm 13) and my cousins going as hanako-kun (also 13) and were ordering online because her mom doesn't eat her sew and my mom broke her sewing machine but I do tend to over estimate my size online so I'm hoping it'll fit
I’m 14-15 and I completely overestimated my ability to use foam and tried to make a Godzilla suit based off of the 1973-75 version. I can’t fit it in any more and I gotta re paint it.
*Im no cosplayer, but I’m something similar, I find this kind of information to be a good list of fundamental rules for when I take my siblings around that like dressing up*
Last time at a con (I’m a minor) there was a knight who kept jumping on people from behind and scream at them. With no surprise he did it to me the whole con (idk him at all, complete stranger) and when I was going to the toilets alone this dude was staring at me smiling like a creep so I kept hiding from him, then when I joined my friends back he “kissed” the air while looking at my girlfriend. (He was like 40 years old maybe? And he smelt like alcohol ) I hope he never comes back.
We made 2 capes using a similar design but the hood is a bit heavy and the tie off at the neckline slides up to the throat. Not very comfortable for long wear time. Any ideas for keeping them in place?
3 years later, and it’s recommended to me at the perfect time. I’ve always really wanted to get into cosplay, and have been (as of recently) starting to try put together cosplay outfits for possible cons I could go to soon enough (I haven’t yet.) I also want to get into making my own cosplay outfits at some point. This is really helpful for learning what to do with this stuff, and I’ll definitely remember this for years to come! I fully appreciate your tips, thank you :]
Her:that doesn’t mean you can’t cosplay as characters over the age of 18 Me: well that’s a relief, I can still be bill cipher because he is over 1 billion years old (this is kinda a joke lol)
The only time I get to cosplay is Halloween sadly even tho I'm in a public school, they treat us like we are in a private school. The dress code I have is horrible.
It's always very funny to see helluva boss or hazbin hotel cosplayers that are teens, because these shows are 18+ rated but have kids as target audience
I have a question!! I’m under the age of 18 ofc cause I’m here and I’m a teen (13) and I wanna dress as Raiden for Genshin. And for those who don’t know she shows lots of skin. And I rlly wanna cosplay her like rlly bad. She’s an amazing character!! And I have an idea how to cover up with leggings and a turtle neck. Is there any tips or anything for that cosplay. Because I rlly wanna and I either way would wear leggings and a turtle neck depending. Any tips or anything.
I cosplayed in grade 8 as Hatsune Miku for halloween at school and I had a great experience. I got compliments from tons of people, so I would recommend! But it depends I think on who you are cosplaying.
