Well you know what I am going to say about Daryl Must Die! Noooooooo!! I think I would of still watched show to end. But it would of been interesting to see if I would of loved the show as much as I do if Daryl & Carol died half way through. There is so many characters like Beth & Denise who just started getting interesting and then they killed them. I am glad that Dary & Carol were not one of those characters because they are the show for me. There are several of other characters I really enjoy also but not like Daryl & Carol.
I don't think Daryl will die, but I do think Carol will at the end of season 2. They're making a season 3, I doubt they'd kill off Daryl when the show has his name in the title. I think the end of the spin off is going to be Daryl finding his way back home to his found family.
I’m getting a feeling with this particular walker has a tremendous backstory and perhaps even a particular survivor who died tragically or heroically and retained more memories and intelligence than the rest of the walkers.
That article is old but so accurate,Daryl is such a forced boring character who disrupts other characters arcs,he's fallen off since then so that's good, goad he's not in these other spinoffs to ruin them
I remember the. Photos behind Rick when he's in the Debriefing Room with Major General Beale I always Curious what's in the Photos the Bridge and the Buildings?
Man id Daryl dies I'll be so mad ! They could have just had the happy little ending minus losing Rosita and left it at that . Honestly I haven't even watched this show yet . I watched everything else but I just couldn't wrap my head around the Paris thing and it just didn't make me excited. In my mind hes still looking for Rick even though Rick is home now .
Of course the video talks about an old 2015 article - but you should watch Daryl Dixon - I think it is a good series and the reason he is in France was plausible and sets up up the bad guy and their 'goals' for the world.
@sonyajrdn @TWDExplained All I can say is your missing out not watching Daryl Dixon Show. I could take or leave Dead City but I really like Daryl Dixon show. The Paris angle really adds alot of personality & you get to see apcolypse from different angle. I think it was a good move. We will get to see Spain next so I think that will be cool also.
Norman's a true Southern boy he was born in Florida His Acting on the show is the way we are in the South a handshake are my word means more than a signature in The South... A.Town🤪
Daryl dying would have been a huge mistake. Exspecially considering we lost Glenn, Carl and Rick left the show. Turns out Daryl not only survived the series but is still kicking ass in his spin-off!
Daryl should not die would a huge mistake along with Glen Carl Abraham Sash and the list goes on Much rather see him leave on som errand after being reunited with Rick and let him be happy❤
I heard that there would be some fighting between them which seemed to make sense to me. She would be coming to find him and he would say I can't leave. She wouldn't understand why he wanted to stay & help them. No matter how you explain something to someone unless they live it they can't really understand. I had not heard about Carol being on apposing side. I like that idea much more. The more I hear about this season the more I want to see it. It seems so far away.....
not made by the CDC we do not know exactly how the French scientists made it, or found it, or how it got out to the world I did a theory video on it though: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DS_S8of3BDQ.html
Civilized society is an illusion. The real animal underneath that can be described by two quotes. One from Dark Knight and one from Star Trek Deep Space Nine. Joker: When the chips are down, these... these civilized people, they'll eat each other. Quark: Let me tell you something about Hew-mons, Nephew. They're a wonderful, friendly people, as long as their bellies are full and their holosuites are working. But take away their creature comforts, deprive them of food, sleep, sonic showers, put their lives in jeopardy over an extended period of time and those same friendly, intelligent, wonderful people... will become as nasty and as violent as the most bloodthirsty Klingon. ST: DS9, “Siege of AR558”
Our real life government is so paranoid they make back up plans to back up plans to improbable situation including zombies. So the most unrealistic thing would be that this universe had no plan for something like zombies. i know a lot of zombie material goes, "oh but zombies dont exist as a genre in this universe." There are and has been other undead mythology in the real world and even if you discount those there is enough zombie like pathogens and parasite that somebody was like yeah make a few plans and back up for that. Like i dont care if their plans failed but being like oh nope they didn't have anything set up at all would be ridiculous. We have plans in real life for a lapercuan invasion....fae invading dont bull sh¹7 me.
Wouldn't it been an interesting storyline to have the guy that shot Rick in episode 1 to have also survived and a few seasons later he would've reappeared as part of the Governor's group?!
I thought they started AMC plus so they could get out of their Netflix contracts? I get that Netflix will get more eyes on the spin-offs but it's a little confusing lol
agree - maybe they realize no one is watching AMC+ much. Did you know Netflix gets more views in a day than Apple TV gets in a month? Apple TV just cut budgets for productions and stopped some that they had plans for.
@TWDExplained ya Netflix just has so many subscribers it's hard to compete. I bet alot of people will atleast watch TOWL on netflix..apple TV has some great shows Silo, Severance, and Servant was pretty good too
I know the guy who played this walker, he was also the movement coordinator for the walkers and the makeup artist. Joe Giles. He says the original plan was for this zombie was to be special and follow Rick for a while. They where gonna give him a back story and all. Then someone got fired and that plan got thrown out.
My theory is that Carol is coming to France with Ash. While searching for Daryl, they stumble upon the Fallou base, he tells her about Genet and that she wants to kill Daryl. Carol lies to Genet and joins her group under a far-fetched pretext. She learns some things about her and her movement and thus helps Daryl. And I also think that the reason why Genet is doing all this (experimenting on zombies, striving to become a full-fledged political leader of France) is her personal struggle: perhaps it has to do with her family or her pre-viral life.
