I'm quite certain that Aemond did not sheathe his sword until after he heard Cole. I definitely think he was hoping to kill his brother, but switched gears when heard Cole. But I love how purposefully ambiguous it is!
I really enjoyed this last episode. I loved watching the Dragons! I have been pretty pleased with the show so far too. I still don't think its as good as Game of Thrones but I have enjoyed watching it. You can really tell your excitement & connection you have with this show. I just can't seem to get that connection with these characters. I think the actors are doing a great job though. It will be interesting to see what happens next after that Dragon battle. It changed the game somewhat and left some things hanging.
The book it's based on has tons of content (more history of Westeros) - I do wonder how far they will go with it. I imagine just till the end of the civil war and these characters though.
Yeah, this last episode was a real cliff hanger. Don't know what the Brother of the King, is gonna be able to justify attacking the King's dragon like that. And if the King survives this encounter, there is gonna be Hell to pay for his brothers actions, bet on it. Cole definitely, is gonna have a problem with it. I think the Brother is an arrogant a hole, of course and this War wouldn't have got started like all this if He hadn't killed the boy, of the Princess. Yes, the series is good, and I did like the first season, a lot. 2nd seasons is so far pretty awesome!
