Tinumbu is responsible for the citizens going hungry and dieing in the country while is giving away money to the senators and the obas. Spot on NedMedia. The statements from both the military and the police suggesting that protest is the handiwork of opposition politics, is vexatious to an intelligent mind. How can so-call national institutions unashamedly revel in partisanship? Are members of the opposition parties not Nigerians? What is wrong with opposition politicians, assuming if it were true, staging protests? What then is democracy if there is no opposition, much more when the average Nigerian is living through hell in their country? Progressive societies know the value of opposition parties, and one needs not look too far. Recently in South Africa, despite sharp differences between political parties, the ANC, the DA and other parties agreed to work together, knowing that what matters at the end is the welfare of the populace. When Tinubu was in the opposition, he led hateful protests against Goodluck Jonathan's government, so I do not get the logic of telling people not to protest when Nigerians are living in conditions 10 times worse.
