Not really math, but a bit of draftsmanship. I learned it in my university. Alan used to eyeball the mob models before he gave me the first mob to model. Then he saw that the weird method I use provides much more clean results, so I was in charge of modelling the mobs for a while. Now Able Rai does this job. I taught him a little bit of draftsmanship so he can do that too.

@@mongju_animation making a tutorial for it would be a very time-consuming task. You can look into the basics of engineering drawings. You want to pay attention to the ones that show you three pictures of the same mechanical part from three different angles (top-view, front-view and side-view). They are going to look similar to the drawings I did when modelling the dolphin's fin.

Unfortunately, it doesn't. It was only made for AS3.0, since Alan Becker's team works in Adobe Animate.
