I’ve listened to a ton of video game soundtracks over the years and I gotta say, Ayane might have the best character themes I’ve ever heard in any series regardless of genre. Tehu Tehu from DOA2 and Prismatic Butterfly from DOA3 are both incredible songs, as well as this theme from DOA5.
I’m crying right now…. Because soon. Luka’s story will be ending soon. Part 3 of Paradox is almost out. Theirs a demo for it right now but I cannot wait. I’ll be crying in the corner soon. Because i’m glad that this series was a great one.
I am 100% positive that psych students and psychology fanatics enjoyed this music too. I am sure, from this music alone, they were able to create multiple conclusions. Silent Hill 2 is a masterpiece. The best "Psychological Horror" game for me.
Still here, and i still remember the time when Alice and Luka shared a heartfelt moment together, each having their own problems, especially how Luka saved Alice from her own self-sacrifice. Truly impeccable storytelling and character development, that most anime nowadays cant achieve.
The fascinating thing about Silent Hill is that each person can interpret it for themselves. In Silent Hill the notion of reality is constantly called into question, the brutality of this universe is not free, but the element that pushes us to die; pursued to be reborn pure. The darkness of Silent Hill is a blinding light.
If I remember right, I don't think this music played while that image was on screen. After finishing the final battle the first time, I went into the game script file, found and deleted the line that changes the music from this to the title screen music, and refought the battle.
This Trilogy singlehanded me loved Monstergirls, The H-scenes did made me take to check it, but I adamantly stayed on the literal storytelling of this awesome H-game. It deserved some kind of award of 'Best H-game' of the century.
