I like ur videos. But dude, just like your dpf vid where you didint show how you took the 2 bracket bolts off I'm stuck and can't get to the bottom egr bolt bc you don't atleast say how you got it or what you used.
What did you use to get those 2 other nuts off on that bracket so you could get the DPF out? Sat here for 2 hours trying to figure it out and couldn’t at all. Any info is appreciated thank you
Did you run into any alignment issues? I did this on a 2015 Volt. Wondering if I should have done 20mm instead of 30mm, the sway bar seems to be making contact (or nearly) with the control arms.
I removed the inlet hose (13251460) and when I did, I broke off the clamp that goes into the engine side. It is a Norma-RSS NW 16-15, but I cannot find it anywhere. The inlet hose comes with the connector to the firewall side, but does not come with the clamp that goes to the engine side. Do you have a part number for this connector or a source? I've been searching for the connector for Holden engines (Australia) and the Vauxhall engines (Europe), but have not been successful. Thanks in advance.
I really appreciate this video. Do you know the name and/or part number for the inlet tube that connects to the trottle body? When I removed the clip (the same way you show in this video), a piece of the plastic tube broke off and stuck to the clip. Now I have a boost leak because the tube will not completely seal against the trottle body face. Thanks in advance.
That is just cheating... it's obvious that the piece was stuck on with soot and you just skipped tnat part... it's the whole reason i'm looking up these videos!
Ive got a 2015 Diesel Cruze that will crank over forever but doesnt even attempt to start. Other than the possible fuse box positive being loose, the turbo having issues, or this EGR valve being stuck.... What other things should I look at? Multiple good batteries were tried.
@@szymon4689 turned out to be a glow plug that melted, probably from being sprayed with diesel, bad injector. Melted the tip and it went for a ride around in the engine. So it was a dead cylinder. Sold it and the next guy updated me on the situation.
@@szymon4689 yeah, they are really famously bad cars. The only reason I messed with it was it was free. They have tons of issues as they run stupidly dirty thanks to all of the emissions and EGR junk on them. If you can sell it when it's running alright you'd do yourself a favor to get into something a lot more reliable.
I know this video is four years old now, but everyone should know that the torx bits to remove the EGR valve are, indeed, T-30. There's another video on RU-vid showing the same thing, but the guy says they're T-27. DO. NOT. USE. A. T-27. BIT If you do, there's a good chance you'll strip the torx, and you'll be in a world of hurt if you do. Ask me how I know. 😂😂😭
Hi I brought the same lift kit and I tried 225 60 17 but it did not work its touching the struts . any advice can you suggest me .is it going work if I use a spacer . will you please replay . thank you
Came across your video for i want to do the same on my car to remove the annoying sensors. How often do you clean the pipes to prevent the soot buildup?
i have a 2014 diesel cruze - removing these are easy enough but what (if any) needs to be done to the computer? to avoid def countdown, and speed countdowns? mine keeps going into countdown permanent fault codes and want to get rid of that junk...
You need to get it tuned, can’t remove it without tuning it. Hell, some vehicles won’t even let you start the them at all without having filters present.
AMIGO LA EGR NO SE LAVA CON EL CONECTOR ASIA AVAJO, YA QUE EL SOLVENTE CAE O SE METE AL INTERIOR ASIA EL SENSOR Y LO DAÑAS , LA EGR SE LAVA CON EL CONECTOR ASIA ASIA ARRIBA PARA QUE EL LÍQUIDO CAIGA ,NO SE META !
I just replaced my turbo charger I have 172,000 miles on the vehicle. Also my coolant lines this is the second time the first time I put a coolant hose on the fittings and the second time the fittings all cracked at one time at the same time so I ordered from Amazon, you coolant fittings and line and put a rubber hose on them
Hey, I got a 2014 Chevy Cruz diesel and I would like to do the same. Where did you get the lift from? And do you have like a video after like for photo shots of the vehicle. How was your drive? How is the shift points and all that with that left her and bigger tires?
You failed to show how you routed out the space for the logs. Your video glossed over some things and spent too much time on others. Maybe that's why 1600 people saw it but only 28 gave it a thumbs up. I wanted to love it, but sent this message instead. Learn from this and improve! You have the skill :)
