Hi! I’m Daniel, a sports creative specializing in the world of Ultimate Frisbee. I’m a graphic designer, photographer, videographer, and editor. Long term goal is to create an all-encompassing creative channel with tutorials ranging from technical photoshop skills, graphic design concepts, photography, photo editing, video editing, motion graphic design, and more!
It varies! Recently they've probably been between 45-60 minutes on average, this one might've been closer to 90 minutes just due to the amount of time I spent experimenting with different composition ideas.
Doing sports designs, where do you feel is the best place to get stock images, like football stadiums for backgrounds and also assets like lens flares, etc.?
My main sources are Adobe's free stock collection (stock.adobe.com/free) and unsplash.com. Underrated way to find textures and other assets, maybe controversial: AI generated images (I've used Adobe Firefly)
Hi Daniel, liked your new design ideas. I hope you make travel agency long tutorials. If you make 4 or 5 long videos on this subject would be great. On RU-vid there no good travel agency designs and I'm sure you could be the best one in that niche. Thanks in advance.
thank you! I know nothing about travel agency designs, could you show me some examples? Still not sure if I'll ever expand outside of sports/ultimate but a good thing to keep on my list in case I do :)
Oh sorry if that was misleading lol just used a gradient mask to reveal it for the video The way I made it was duplicating the players layer, filling it with black, then transforming it down (squishing it) and skewing it a bit to the left. Then adding a Gaussian blur
Right now I've been referencing The Graphic Design Idea Book by Steven Heller & Gail Anderson. A year or so ago I was using this graphic design textbook that I forgot the name of, but it was helpful to just go through design components/concepts and work with those as inspiration
You definitely gotta make a tutorial on these new poster designs you've been coming out with, the are some techniques in there that I wanna learn, like the glow on the player/the words
I applied the whole image to its own layer (command + option + shift + e on a mac), then applied a gaussian blur + opened up the Filter Gallery and used the glass filter as well as some grain. Then I just masked it so it only affected the left side of the image
There are two things that really confuse me. The first is that Donald Trump has a chance of being re-elected President of the US and the second is that this channel does not have a huge number of subscribers. Content here is just so useful
@@G.StarCreative no it can be anything! I’m not gonna map out certain days for certain styles, just trying to encourage myself (and you/others) to try new styles in general
