Thanks for sharing this... I'm moving from Brazil to Sanya in the next few days and I'm very nervous, anxious and freaking out about moving to another country, another culture etc etc One thing I can't find though is about the urban life in Sanya, I guess most people who goes there are looking for the beaches so all the videos are related to it, but I'm a more urban type of guy haha
Lol 😂😂😂 this is funny...First, there are indeed laws about gay rights but this is for political purposes... discriminations are still rampart... Second, you are white- most Filipinos has inferiority complex. They will be definitely "friendly" and selective "tolerant"- unfortunately for foreigners.
Hi Patrick, Please don't feel sorry for speaking the truth. It's common for people to run away from problems instead of dealing with issues like mental health, depression, addiction, and anxiety. However, doing the inner work is essential because external things cannot fix internal issues. No amount of traveling, relationships, money, or material possessions will solve these issues. I strongly suggest looking into psychedelic therapy (you can thank me later). Sending you love from Pakistan. Cheers
Hi Patrick! I am Paul I don't know if you will remember me but I met you on a random, mundane morning in a small guesthouse near BGC in Manila a few years back. I want you to know that some of your adventures as Patmax especially in Central Asia, helped fuel my imagination and my desire to see more of the world. Life’s in stages. I travelled from 19 to 26. Traveled through 15 different countries. Hit 26 and said…I want a home. No park benches, hostels, or couches. It’s that simple
Thank you for your honesty! Change is the only constant factor in life so please do not feel obligated to maintain who you were. Also, we all are running away from something in life, not just you. For example, surfing the web and watching RU-vid videos are activities that I do to run away from my own mind. Hope you have a great beginning to a new journey!!

It was off Malapascua island in the Philippines. It’s actually not a sunset, but a sunrise. Was going out for an early dive that day. Great to end the video sailing into the sunrise 😊

Thanks for sharing your story Pat. I’ll always remember when i met you in jeju. I only had a couple videos up and you inspired me push forward. That RU-vid travel life ain’t easy and your montage at the end even choked me up. I hope your future brings you more happiness and good luck.
