I had my omnivore 2HP replaced in June 2023. So far the plumber has been out several times to unclog it. These things don’t grind up things like that demonstration. Once was a paper towel ( we had people painting our house using the bathroom , I don’t throw paper towels in the toilet) a couple time a washcloth clogged it up ( still trying to figure out how wash clothes got in the tank ). Maybe I got a lemon?
Can 2" DWV pipe be used one the discharge side of a Pro380 pump? I ask because I have to replace some pipe/fittings and noticed that the installer used a 2" long sweep wye for a clean-out (which I will need to renew) and I was wondering if I can go back in with the same DWV or if I need to use pressure rated PVC. Thanks.
Given that this backup pump attaches above the normal pump (rather than sit on the pit floor) what is the approximate pit height required to use this product? Thanks!
We installed dual redundancy pumps in our lift station along with a controller that alternates between them each time the float triggers the pump to be run. In the event of a power outage, I'd LOVE to have some kind of battery backup for these things. If memory serves they are either 3/4 hp or 1 hp, whichever will still run on 110V instead of 220V. Anyone have a recommendation on a decent battery backup?
I’m a plumber and just installed a couple of these in the same setup. Very neat pumps. You’d need a generator backup for your whole house. To have a battery backup you’d have to modify the whole housing and it’s sealed so well there is no reason to modify it. A generator backup would be better
I had a ascent ii macerating toilet installed by a licensed plumber last year. Now it leaks around the seal. The plumber who installed it won't touch it and the others I have contacted won't even come look at it. One said it was junk. I contacted Micah at Liberty who told me they had no sources for maintenance in the Nashville, TN area and I should reach out to a local plumber. Of course, I had already tried to reach out to local plumbers who refused to touch it. It came with a 3-year warranty. I ill give them an opportunity to honor it. Right now, I believe the positive reviews on this youtube video are probably fake. Buyer beware.
My Little Giant sewage pump broke after ONE year and Franklin Electric failed to send a replacement. This kind of company should disappear in the American market.

I found this on the poor pumpers society channel and looked it up. Impressive pump! I noticed that there is no 110v model. Is there a comparable pump with a 2" discharge that's compatible with 110v? Thanks!
In the instruction manual it does not state to postion the pump head at a 45 degree angle, in gace it shows it as perfectly level in all your install diagrams... which is the correct method?
My septic company installed the LE51A yesterday. I had to let the glue dry overnight on the pipes, so the first time we ran water through it was today. They zip tied the float directly above the motor, so I walked outside this evening and felt the pump running in my sewage transfer tank in the backyard and decided to open it up and check why it was running so long. That is when I saw the float stuck on top of the motor. I would estimate the motor ran continuously for 3-9 hours. Should I call the septic company and demand a new one, or this is probably ok?
Its fine, they are designed to pump for hours on end. I've been installing liberty pumps and lift stations for over 20 years. I installed one in a basement. It flooded due to rain. A piece of wood floated over to the pump (suction pulls everything towards pump), the wood lodged under the float switch and the pump ran for over 2 weeks, 24 hours a day. That was 6 years ago and it's still going strong.
Yes just put one of these in the other day for a customer. They need the floats to be aligned correctly. We used hose clamps and electrical tape to secure them
Hi do I need to vent the pipe outside the basement through the wall? My plumber says just to leave it open inside the basement but I’m afraid of smells?
Strange that a plumber would say that. Definitely needs to be vented, ours was connected to our upstairs bathroom vent pipe (able to access from basement, did require cutting into wall upstairs). I'm sure it's code.
@@MisterGreenGuy yup exactly why I'm pulling some new wire going 480v pump or 220-230 pump. Currently I'm tossing out 4-6 1hp year ! But have had same 2hp in hole for 5 years no jams just occasional float get hung lol
Okay don’t do what he did for step 1 unless you need a shower lol. Always disconnect below the check valve, then pop the check valve to drain the pipe.
I had this system installed last year and have been happy with it so far until the smell started. For the life of me I can't comprehend why the company has zero troubleshooting videos for common problems. SMH. Instead of finding the solution on the company's site I have to be gouged by a plumber to probably solve a problem I could of handled myself? Make it make sense. Imagine how much happier your customers might be if we could find the solutions on your site.
Hi, is this compatible with this basin? Im tired of the pump in this one getting clogged all the time www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-1-2-HP-Submersible-Pre-Plumbed-Sewage-Basin-System-THD1075/206475885
I have a detached garage 200' from our septic system tank inlet I want to install one of these with a small sink in garage, I have 24" of total drop from garage to inlet on tank will this work???? Not the 1/4" per foot but is +1/8", I will know exactly after shooting with laser transit. Also could I use 1 1/4 or 1 1/2" pipe? Would this be better or worse and stick with the 1" pipe? Cleanouts? No vertical lift, out back of unit down thru floor then straight to tank, 90 into wye fitting just before pipe enters tank.
i have completed the set up and everything seems to be working. My question is that my set up light continues to blink, is this normal? after install I have the power light, 1 blinking install button and a solid wifi light.
