At first I was skeptical. Then i saw the diaper and got a little hope back. but when you threw that winter jacket in there!!! I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW MANY TIMES I HAVE CLOGGED MY GRINDER PUMP BY FLUSHING MY WINTER COAT!!! I'm ordering two of these bad boys!
Justin Case I think this is all smoke and mirrors bullshit u know why because my 2000 dollar liberty omnivore grinder pump got jammed up by a small rag my daughter threw inside the toilet. My washroom flooded because the pump cutter couldn't spin and it kicked the breaker off. I'm very disappointed this just happened today I'm so pissed off pump works now after removing the rag that jammed the cutter but judging by this video it makes these pumps look like they are indestructible. They are not mine got jammed up by a small rag.
This is a 7.5 hp industrial model. The residential one is only 1 hp. This pump is likely designed to handle waste from an entire building rather than just one basement bathroom. The circumstances are very favorable here because they don't grind anything until the blades are already spinning at full speed and the pump is brand new. In a normal application, this would be installed in some type of ejector pit with a float switch to turn it on or off as needed. If the blades stop when something is bound up in them, the pump may not start again. After years of being submerged in sewage and repeated grinding, the blades will also dull.
