Hello and welcome to thebonniebiker RU-vid channel!
I'm Ray, your fellow motorcycle enthusiast. While I may not know every detail about all the bikes out there, my passion for riding more than makes up for it. Whether I'm on my Triumph Bobber or any other two-wheeled beauty, I'm here to share my adventures with you.
Lol, show us the key. Tell me if the key looks any more convincing at all. Why Norton why, why provide a key that looks like an old suitcase key?? For such an amazing motorcycle that's just disgusting. And what about the speedo console and the brake fluid reservoirs? Such cheap components, not even sturdy and well finished. What happened to brushed aluminum and all??
I bought the same Black Gold model a couple of months ago and I love it (it even inspired me to create my own RU-vid channel). I was coming back to biking after a break of over a decade, so it was the perfect reintroduction to motorcycling. Unlike you, it was love at first sight for me 🙂 Modification wise - I've added a DNA air filter and swapped out the cat for a decat pipe and I think that's about all you need to do in order to give it a bit more pep, without spoiling it's laid back nature.
@@BulletBeena That’s amazing, I just had a quick look at your channel and it looks so much better without the windshield! Maybe that’s what put me off initially.
Just fyi, you shouldn’t use a power washer on a motorcycle. Only regular spray hose it. It’ll help preserve the electricals and also keep the water from going in where it shouldn’t.
@thebonniebiker Yes. Just all in good time. I want to enjoy the stock ver as much as I can. Since it's the FE I know I'm not going to resell it but I'd still like the option to revert it back to stock if I can. I just hit 700 miles on her the other day & I've only changed the center nut on the fork stem for a phone mount, a caliper lock for security, some helmet hooks that mount where a grab handle would go and put the front fairing on. Next on the list is maybe an X pipe and Jekill and Hyde exhaust. It sounds beautiful already I'd just like a bit more snarl and considering my neighbors morning haha there's a body kit that I like one part of near the bottom of the radiator. I'd color match that to the bikes green. I think that'll fill that spot nicely without changing the look too much plus it'll be a nice place to put her name in gold lettering without going over the stock parts or FE badging...... then... way wayyyy down the road a nice TTS supercharger and power tune.
@@Basicph33r I love all that mate! I had a list just as long when I got the bobber 🤣 You’ll have to let me know when’s it’s all done so we can hear those J&H 🔊
If it rains do you get soaked with that rear fender? I've just removed my rear fender fully now looking for a solution where I dont have to have a full fender but also not get soaked.
Congrats on life style change and also on your two years anniversary with this beautiful bobber. I just got mine same gold line a few weeks ago and I am super excited. I uploaded one video from the dealer and I have a few more that I am editing now to put on my channel. She makes a great companion to my Triumph Scrambler 1200. Also great job with channel and not giving a hoot what anyone else things. If it is fun and therapeutic... keep doing it!
@@FritzysGarage Thank you so much, that really means a lot. Congrats on the new purchase, you won’t be disappointed 🙌🏼 I’ll have to check out your video.
For 17k quid you could do with better engine performance, tank and footpegs that actually fit a standard person's dimensions. What sense putting prime suspension and brakes to a Hindi made bike that's underpowered.
@@block672008 at 180cm I must be abnormal as the tank and foot pegs were all fine, I can see why people might complain about performance but the cost is because it’s made in limited numbers in the UK. You’re not buying this to race around, it’s just old school motorcycling
Beautiful man this bike my dream now. I actually own a Royal Enfiled Gt650. But after watching this video my heart gone to this bike. Will this bike launch in India? and I wanna how your bike sounds.❤
@@rangersingh1146 hey 👋🏼 It is a stunning bike, the green paint is glorious. I’m not sure if they are realising this in India, sorry. How do you find the RE GT650?
@@thebonniebiker I have Mr.clean RE GT650 variant and for me it is the fastest in its class and has excellent road presence, the only issue is with the heating and heavy cause the weight of both silencer 25kg each weight around 12.5 kg and total weight of the bike is around 218kg. and my god the paint job of your bike is definetly that win my heart it just like Emerlad 💚 (my favorite stone😂) I really want to hear the sound of your bike. Can you please drop a reel or a video. I just can't wait to hear it. Thankyou For Replying Lots of love from India♥.
Did you notice any improvement in the torque with the Zard slipons? When I’m riding I feel like the engine doesn’t really like going below 2500 rpm. In contrast my wife’s 2019 T120 has no problem dropping below 2000 rpm.
@@valhaygen It’s been so long I can’t remember what it was like before 🤣, however the bobbers have always been different with the gearing. I was thinking of changing up the sprocket to help with this. It could be that the t120 is the “standard” engine and the bobber has the high torque engine why you feel the difference.
