Nice choice of background music for the video congratulations and thank you for that. I have just bought this exact model in this decoration the Baja orange that looks stunning. I don’t feel at the moment like wanting to change anything on the bike, as it’s featured more or less as I wanted to begin with. But the very next thing I’ll put on will be the heated grips, in the end of the summer season. No louder pipes or new mirrors. It’s a classic bike, so I tend to keep the stock scrambler style as it’s designed by the manufacturer. I did mount the front light Triumph protection, which I find very beautiful and aligned with the aesthetic of the bike. It’s an adventure naked bike, so I intend to leave it clean from luggage racks and panniers. A nice backpack will be enough to carry my first aid kit, some light tools for Tyre repair, a bottle of water, a towel , a drone and my laptop. I’ll install a phone mount, of course, but that’s it. The bike is fantastic and I love the high position that we have riding it in every type of road. The engine is simply fabulous, torquy and willing on every situation. It has also more than enough power to take you where ever you want. I have another bike that I love, the BMW R nine T Scrambler version (besides the spoked rims and the 19 inches front wheel it hasn’t real off-road capabilities) , it behaves and feels more like a roadster. Like the Triumph 1200 XE, the BMW has a very torquy engine, we can ride each of these bikes easily at 80 mph on motorways, with no special efforts, since you don’t need to keep on that pace for too long. Both bikes deal very well with the wind, while we don’t try to put on them things like windshields or tall wind protections , that only will create turbulence and buffeting on your upper body and helmet. On a naked bike a simple small wind deflector to protect the dashboard, is more than enough and you will preserve all the maneuverability of its naked bike’s nature. These are bikes to ride on solo manners and yet on a short distance basis they’re capable to accommodate a passenger and/ or a side bag if you choose that a backpack is not a suitable solution for you, but even there, you have leverage for different options. They have both reasonable fuel ranges, so there’s nothing limiting you of touring on one of these naked bikes. Their value isn’t the best for touring but it’s perfectly possible to do it on both. The suspension can be adjusted to have a superior comfort, so I think they are very versatile bikes after all. I’m not comparing the two bikes, I’m only referring to these two because I own both models and I find them both a lot fun to ride. Different experiences, but both very pleasing. Keep the bobber but don’t give up on the Scrambler XE. It will give you extra riding pleasures that will make it worth to own both! 👌🏻 Before choosing to buy the XE model I first tested the X model and that, I really found a little dull, too normal for my taste. There would be a hundred bikes that I would consider to buy before the X model. But this a personal impression and subjective opinion, like these judgments, regularly are. Thanks ✌🏻✌🏻
