My carriage wouldnt move this week. I took it apart and the skirt. I cleaned everything with solvent, reoiled and swept out the chips. Now she is back in fine fettle. I really dont use it much, but enough for it to get all gummed up.
No such thing as "overwound". That's like saying your car won't start because you overfilled the gas tank.If you wind it all the way up,and it wont run, take it to a PROFESSIONAL,not the local I'm a handyman/ mr fixit guy.Overwound is a myth.
Came here for the saw review - I've heard others say the dust extraction on the Evolutions isn't great. This is the first video where someone's using one of those full face masks. What are your thoughts on them? Any good? I'm getting tired of goggles/glasses misting up when worn with an ordinary mask.
greetings from Oklahoma, U S A ,,...!! ...good video..tks ..i signed on because I FOROT the RE-assembly order of some of the components ..("where the hell does this go .".)..lol...!! anyway you showed me what I needed to know ..I bought a new 20 tooth grass gear and shaft assembly .on Amazon -(the worm gear looks fine)--..I noticed however, that my saw had a 23 tooth brass gear ..!! ..I counted the teeth on the worm gear and it looks like FIVE complete teeth ..!! ...not sure if it's gonna work ...but logic would dictate that 5 to 20 sounds more reasonable than 5 to 23 ..!! ..i bought the saw NEW 20 years ago for $170.00 so..if this doesn't work ..to the scrap pile it goes ..!!!... thanks again for the information ...!!!
Looks great, super job. You're paying for the skill of the workforce, the unseen overheads and the actual granite. You've got a good result. Thats the main thing, Cliff, these days. Installation can make or brake a job, I used to be in this trade. I'm sure your wife will be pleased. Cheers Tony
Didn't have to, it would spray out of the tin, but I thinned it about 10%, it's acrylic so it's only water and I think it was better. All the best, Cliff
Have another vfd. I need some help. I need to run an extra fan. My unit is enclosed and need to add a second fan. Anyone have some info on how to POWER the fan using the vfd. Please.
Great seeing you creative in da shed Cliff, even better seeing you get proficient at Tig welding, i didn’t see those tips dip into the weld. I promise 🫣. And those Nuts 😂
I’d love to see him get proficient at TIG welding. I was cringing the entire way through. Maybe we should chip in to get him a high frequency start machine.
You used a LENGTH of ROD and your extensive TOOL collection to produce that impressive trophy. Don't forget to turn the gas KNOB off on your welding bottle. Great stuff Cliff.
