I've read some posts of people saying this mod adds noise. Can you confirm if this is the case when removing the snorkel and replacing it with the scoop?
And the BMW is built in the country it purports to be from. That's important if a bike is being marketed on heritage. Triumph is built in Thailand, which is kind of ironic
This is correct, when you remove the flap on a Gen3 model you will get the cold start splutter. As part of our electronics package, part of the remap has been developed to eliminate this. The servo buddy is there to eliminate the fault light on the dash after removing the flap.
fantastic videos, been riding 40 years and do my own servicing but you are never too old to learn. Really appreciate your videos. Now a customer and I try to get all my kit form you, brilliant service!. (Customer service has died since covid but Pier city are a model of how how it should be done, fab)
Great video- easy to follow and provided all the information I needed to confidently and safely change the battery. Some other clips show removing the tank with the breather pipes attached which is problematic with newer models with a filter - following the method shown in this clip (removing the breather pipes at the tank) works for all models.
when u said ".. also helping out the environment.. " I almost flip over while trying to press the unsub icon.... please.... love your channel.. .but never is metal rubber petrol oil gonna be a friend of the current "environment" thingy... no greta thunderbirds are watching bike making...
I did headders (CAT delete) airfilter, end can + power commander with dial in on a Rolling road on that engine…. Not worth the money. On other engines you will get a huge return… but not on this one😢. Save your money and time.
Great videos… Just got a R9T Urban GS that I’m setting up for travel. Does removing the airbox and snorkel affect the bike’s ability to cross water or risk water intake in rain? Thanks
Hey Guys, thanks for the tips, definitely useful for my new buy. Quick question please. Looking at getting this upper clamp seen on your vid here, what are they, rizoma's ? do you have specs for this one ? Million thanks !
Finished a very extensive test ride. Pro: 1. Engine, tons of power and especially torque. Does NOT feel like 95 HP, more like 120-125. 2. Brakes incredibly strong, very confidence inspiring. 3. Build quality 4. Cruise control works beautifully, easy to engage / operate 5. For someone around 5,9ft 175 cm this is very comfortable for long distance. Also nice low seat. 6. 719 finish looks great. 7. Digital display is crystal clear and very bright so amazing visibility. 7. Tech laden CONS: 1. KEYLESS allows you to switch the bike on and off but not lock/unlock the steering, meaning you still need to take out the key regardless. Absolutely retarded. Unless I have not figured it out somehow.. 2. No fuel gauge. Mind boggling 3. Quick shifter feels BAD in the first 2 gears. Very jerky changes. 4. Tyres grippy but could have been a little better. 5. Rear shock is hard with very little travel, so only a little better than a triumph bobber or Indian scout bobber.
I am in the process of this. I will cut the air filter tomorrow because I dont care going back nor will dismantle the bike for this. Then install the rapid bike evo, received the kit yesterday. I would like more details on the crank filter position and the tube extension explanation. Maybe a picture I can see?
It may be repetitive on most steps but a 2024 r12 nine t video at least for the differences. I’m sure once you get one in the shop. I’m excited to see what creation you guys come up with.
