I used to have LOC a long time ago I use olive oil to make my hair thicker. I guarantee you if you use olive oil it will make your hair thicker I promise.
@@YungMakuveli I use the virgin olive oil from the grocery store cost only $10. I promise you well this olive oil on your hair once a week and I think it be a do rag on your head too.

Things I wish I knew was definitely not extending them by wrapping hair or braiding them cuz it definitely thinned mine out. I’m glad I never colored my roots tho because it will definitely cause them to break off eventually. And when I colored them, I knew the color wouldn’t be even so I used a lower volume and slowly colored them over time. Like use a 20 volume every 6 months or so and it’s creates a pretty ombré effect and the blonde will get lighter and lighter until it’s your desired color but your hair won’t damage as bad. Definitely use a protein conditioner with every wash. I’m starting my second set this year once my TWA grows out some more lol. I cut my locs off after 6 years and my little fro been growing since august of last year so I’m so excited to start mine again ! Knowing what I know now I think I’ll love this set even more!

I feel THE MOST feminine with having locs. I am on my second set. I felt like an imposter with that darn wig on lol. I am more confident with my locs. It brings out out my black/african features, my big forehead (lol) too. I blocked a guy who said women with locs are not attractive. But he was a dusty anyway. Men say they want a natural woman but chile some be lying lol. Also, I am trying to grow my own lashes back out. My ex-fiancé told me lashes made me look older, and I definitely can see that difference with lashes on. So now I prefer my own lashes as well. Great video topic!
Right…it amazes me that some of the Sisterlocs women still have the “relaxer” mindset whenever they see new growth, they feel their locs are unkept. 🙄 Those loc’d women are lost and missed the ENTIRE point of having locs. But it doesn’t really surprise me bc Sisterlocs were really created for relaxed women to transition to natural hair. So they get their re-ties done every 4-6 weeks just like having a relaxer. That is not true hair freedom to me. And this is coming from someone who got SL installed back in 2008. But I quickly realized they were still a form of enslavement to a hairdresser…so I removed them after 3 months. I love traditional locs and I’m on my 2nd set (after bleaching my 1st set to death lol). But great video!
Automatic subscribe! I have 49 locs and I love thick locs, been locd for 2.3 years self maintained and started from 2 strand twists. I retwist whenever I feel like it and it’s been such a good journey. Love your locs 😍
Your locs look great! I too have 46 locs and I am in love with thicker locs. I self started and have self maintained for almost 2 years. Whenever I retwist the whole process takes about 2 hours from washing to sitting under the dryer and I retwist every 2 or 2 and a half months.
I love that it doesn’t take long to do my locs too! ❤ I love that you self started, for me locs are a apart of my spiritual journey and you self starting makes you even more connected to them ✨
LOL i often have all my hair down and it'll be in my face. I did it first cuz i just liked having it down, but then i started getting self conscious about my forehead. When my locs are down i look way younger
