Things I wish I knew was definitely not extending them by wrapping hair or braiding them cuz it definitely thinned mine out. I’m glad I never colored my roots tho because it will definitely cause them to break off eventually. And when I colored them, I knew the color wouldn’t be even so I used a lower volume and slowly colored them over time. Like use a 20 volume every 6 months or so and it’s creates a pretty ombré effect and the blonde will get lighter and lighter until it’s your desired color but your hair won’t damage as bad. Definitely use a protein conditioner with every wash. I’m starting my second set this year once my TWA grows out some more lol. I cut my locs off after 6 years and my little fro been growing since august of last year so I’m so excited to start mine again ! Knowing what I know now I think I’ll love this set even more!
