The most expensive watch in my small collection is a 1990's Riviera quartz. It's super thin with alternating 18k gold bracelet links and bezel. I like how it is the opposite of clunky.
Not a fan of omega design. Been in Omega shop many many time but just not a fan of their design. Ok, maybe its better value for money, but as far as watches concern, they are both overprice. If we are speaking of function, a G shock blow any mechanical watch out of the water. So what if rolex doesnt make as wide a range as omega, thats just how each brand set out their business. After buying several watches of several brand, im surprised that my next watch is going to be a datejust,
Dumb video, 99% or brands tank in valué, so dont buy Vacheron, JLC, GP or even Rolex?? Buying a watch as an Investment is dumb, watches are like Cars you buy them to use and enjoy knowing you will loose Money!!!!
It's called marketing, broadening your customer base and selling your products. That's what businesses do. All you people already hate Tag Heuer anyway, so why do you care? lol
Bremont watches have always intrigued me…definitely a brand that has shown a lot of promise. The main problem with Bremont is that they are charging “established luxury brand” prices for watches with ETA movements. They are wayyyy overpriced for what they are
The Freelancer, Maestro, and now the Millesime definitely seem worth anyone's Weil. So, while not entirely wrong, I think the assessment is also a bit unnecessarily harsh, but hey, that's what works for the viewers, right?
I bought a ‘91 two-tone Sub five years ago and rarely ever wear it since it’s useless at nighttime and have a phobia about scratching it. I really enjoy wearing my Planet Ocean since it’s huge compared to the Sub, but still fits me nicely on my small wrist.
I love watches. It's literally the only thing close to "jewelry" that I wear. But there isn't a watch on this planet worth more than maybe 2,500.00 to me. I knew a guy who wore a Rolex. It was definitely a nice watch, but I never saw the value in it, and it quit running all the time.
Dude, trying to sustain your theory is like me trying to state that Grand Seiko quality is evidently over Omega, plus farther than Rolex. I feel you, but face it, people buy Rolex by the name and prestige, not for the quality.
Bought a RW maestro as my first automatic. Its a nice watch. Well worth the £500 price i paid as it was discounted. It was my gateway between quartz tissot and my rolex and omega.
As a 59 year old, I’d wear it. Looks cool. It’d get people commenting on the old bloke in a mid life crisis. Probably too expensive for me. Still like it.
i love my atomic sync- and I’m in Canada, pretty far from the nearest radio (Colorado). If it doesn’t work for someone, try wearing it overnight. If that doesn’t work, strap it to something metal - I’ve used a larger stainless steel pot lid; others have used a bike frame. Give it a try - it works like an antenae.
I have a sub and a datejust i also have several invivtas, while the invictas are great for the money the problem i have had it the crystals have gotten cloudy after 10 year. For the price ill just buy new ones and replace them. They definitely have their place
