I'm a big fan - CW has been crushing it for the past couple of years, and this just proves that they're working their way into higher tier segments. There's an art to removing material and not all brands who attempt a skeletonised dial and movement are successful. This however, this is 👌

Love it. There's even on the fly bracelet adjustment of 3mm❤.

The butterfly clasp has an adjustable extension on each side of 3mm , may not be on your sample but will be on production models. Unfortunately I think the extra millimetre 40 mm to 41mm and the 12 mm thickness may loose the original style of this watch. Not for everyone but a great achievement just as was the Bellcanto .

Looks cool but sooner would pay the extra bones for a Zenith. It’s admirable the CW is even being spoken in the same breath as Zenith. Bravo!

Love the watch, reminds me of the Oris ProPilot X Cal 115, not the exactly the same, but a few hints of it I guess. Also, we need Microbrand Monday back!! I really miss that series.

It has quick adjust on the butterfly clasp. 3mm 1.5mm on each side it pulls out like VC does their extension.

Looks amazing. I'm also not generally a fan of integrated bracelets, butterfly clasps, and skeleton dials, but I'd totally consider this. If they ever make one with more readable hands (painted yellow or green?) I'd probably grab one.

A divisive design, sure, but it's great to see CW doing something as kick-arse as this. Thanks for the early look.

Would love it if it had rose gold/blue hour hands, second hand, or rotor for contrast. Different color lume on the hour markers or larger indices would help as well.

Not a huge fan of skeleton for the most part, very few get it right without it looking excessive. However this is one watch I plan on getting in 2024, I think the case design and thin profile pairs well with it being a skeleton and not looking "clunky". Huge fan of Ti watches (my daily worn Swiss auto is titanium) its a very nice looking piece and the price is fairly affordable given watch it is and its level of finishing and other features. It is somewhat expensive for a CW watch being it doesn't have that lengthy prestige of other brands, but they're new comers and definitely doing all things right. Personally I planned on getting a regular Ti twelve but I didn't like the dial colors and the vignette applied to the Ti models, this just takes everything I liked about the original twelve Ti and takes it 10 levels up! Furthermore I RARELY comment on any sort of YT video, but man they did an awesome job with this piece!
@TriforceRich
@TriforceRich 6 месяцев назад
No way this is a $20k watch. That's the price of a streamliner and the finishing here is not even close to that level. A BP FF at $16k that people call overpriced has a haute horology finished movement that smokes this. Even if this watch punches above its weight, let's not exaggerate.
@ph8077
@ph8077 6 месяцев назад
You haven't even seen it in the metal...but you gave an opinion anyway. If you are a collector/enthusiast, you'll know that pics & vids are just to pique interest, you should NEVER buy before you get tactile, try it on & get up close. What is it about you people who feel the need to piss on people's bonfires with zero experience of the thing you're whingeing about? LOL
@TriforceRich
@TriforceRich 6 месяцев назад
@@ph8077 because these sort of claims make people run and buy the watch. I don’t mind people buying a watch they love. I like CW but claiming it would be a $20k watch if someone else’s name was on it is way too far of a stretch. I’ve handled plenty of CW. They punch above their weight but not to the degree made out here.

On a watch like this, I think there is some art in allowing the movement to shine while keeping the legibility. I'm not sure that they nailed that part of the design. Otherwise, it is very impressive.

I just hope to God CW stays to there roots, doesn’t let great market get sold of there pricing and let the the tradition good quality for a fair price! Kings like old school Rolex and modern day tag heuer. I don’t want to think about resale when buying a watch or worry about the price going up bc I have to save for it. Keep it real CW!

It’s a great watch, and it sets a new higher price tidemark. It represents great value with Titanium, finished movement and integrated bracelet and its own design. Compare it to a Tudor 4k homage, with its unfinished movement from its bought supplier, and no effort at design beyond copy paste Old Rolex, add a snowflake and done.

This is a stepback for CW. If I wanted a hard to read skeleton time piece, but at a better price, I would buy a second hand Hublot, they have better value retention than CW. CW had a home run with the twelve, or the classic aesthetic of the C60 put this new model to shame, and then there is the price, this cost more than the Bel Canto!? CW pricing is way out of spec for what this brand once offered, but I guess they now have higher bills to pay with their F1 endorsement. All in all, meh.

First impression: gimmicky, overpriced and with a dubious style. Its back looks better than its front and even more so better than its ugly side profile. Unfortunately this first impression has to remain the final one, as there are zero CW brick and mortar shops anywhere in the EU. So there is no way to get hands-on experience with this piece other than order it and send it back. Which is a lot of potential hassle with CW sitting on their traitor to the European idea island of Great Britain.
@AckoMunze

Shamefully overpriced. 120 hours power reserve is a gimmick...unless you wear the watch on Mondays and Fridays exclusively and you hate touching the crown by default. 20K easily if it was a bigger brand??? No. Hard pass.
