The fact that shops are closed on Sundays is something relatively new, and it was introduced by the party that, thankfully, is no longer ruling here in Poland. Interestingly, shops are also closed on Sundays in Germany, by the way. Hopefully, this will change in Poland soon, as we now have a less conservative government. Another thing to note: Polish people are generally divided into two broad groups-conservatives and liberals. So, what you mentioned about Poles applies more to the conservative side. The entire country isn't like that, though. But isn't it the same in the US compare California to Texas or even Illinois. Completely different mentalities.
the thing with sports in poland is even thought its a national sport a lot of other people from poland i know all agree that acc other sports should be since our football team is not that great and we do a lot better in some other sports
Generational trauma is real and we wont get rid of that for a long time, we were always fkd and we still are, just because of our country location. We are closed because till now every so called "foreign friends" stab us at the back. France for example and many more, which said they will help us and in the end betrayed us.

You can't please everyone with everything that's all what I say. Everyone has flaws and positive sites of themselves, and this applies to nations and countries just as much. Me myself, I don't blame you for criticism, it's better to be objective, even if it means saying things which may annoy people. As for interracial relations, they are more normalized in US precisely because you have been more exposed to it and for prolonged time (generations tbh). Whereas Poland is overwhemingly white-skinned and was net migration loser until the very recent history. Thus, interracial relations could not develop for sake of very limited exposure of locals to different "races". Me myself, I competely ignore aspect of one's skin. Call it weird, but for me, unlike nationality, religion or culture, that's just the thing you are born with and can't really be changing yourself. And honestly - unlike culture, religion, morality or ideology, there's no real inherent trait to one's skin colour - neither positive or negative - it's just adaptation of body to climate conditions they live in.

Graffiti, weather, smoking and bad driving really hits close to home for me as well. As a Pole I share the sentiment on these especially. I hate taggers, they can turn an otherwise nice place into looking like a gutter. I hate the cigaratte smoke, less and less people smoke in the country though younger generations vape a lot which ALSO bothers me though not as much as cigarettes. Smoking in public places is really common, there should be a special place in hell for people smoking at bus stops or on the balconies. It really bother me especially as a parent of a young child I really don't want my kid to be inhaling all of this smoke which so hard to avoid sometimes. The weather, what can I say I always said there are two seasons in poland - bearable and unbearable and the latter is much longer. But the driving part... prepare for the hate because so many poles still think they are good drivers, but somehow they claim everyone else is a terrible driver. We have the most modern highways in europe yet they are the most deadly. People drink and drive, they're excesivelly speeding yet they claim they drive "fast but safe". It's so common to hear that in Poland and I hate it. They lack the imagination what could happen when you go over 200kmh on highways, they think they are good drivers because they haven't had an accident just yet. Not sure how to fix these problems, it seems to be slightly improving over time, but the driving problem is so persistent.

When Thailand is very cheap and affordable for retirement but Human being all flock there. Now the prices went up due to influx of foreigners and visitors, this people start to complain the cost of living. Who create this?? Definitely Human being.
What happened when I divorced my ex who I brought to America is her family cut me off for holidays, events, etc. I was like a pariah. Even, we had a son between the two of us. Didn’t matter. No limit to vindictiveness.

Man you're the biggest banana I've ever seen. You have to go outside District 1 and 5. The street food is abundance and cheap as in other districts and towns. What you've shown is the tourist areas. Get on a motorcycle and get adventurous.
I actually liked your honest opinions. I am not filipino but why are some, if not most filipinos unable to take negative criticisms unlike other south east asians countries who are so different from the filipino mindset? If I criticised Thailand or Vietnam, they don't really care because they know their country is a take it or leave it, if you like it, then welcome, if you don't like it, you can so somewhere else. I find that the filipinos are too emotional and sensitive people and are only happy when foreigners praised the philippines.
I live in the province and after 9 yrs I am fed up, the noise, the smoke, the disrespect towards your neighbors. I'm glad, you covered all the pros of living in the Philippines in this vlog. All the other vloggers make it sounds like a utopia. I'm also not a fan of Filipino food. It's just way too greasy for me. They put way too much sugar in some of the fried dishes.

Totally agree with almost everything, but the point about our technological advancement being lacking... Totally disagree. Compare the credit card, and online banking situation, or the fsct we pay our taxes with a phone app, we carry our id's and drivers licences in an app, we get our prescriptons online and we pay for public trabsportation and parking with phones or watches or... Whatever. You guys still have to use coins for the most part, and your waiters take your credit cards with them 😂 c'mon you know its true.
