Good video, and you are correct about buying Harley parts. You can get better deals sometimes, but if you have to wrestle with it, you realize it wasn't the deal you thought it was. Just my opinion.
Do you find using the speaker baffles actually does better than not having anything back there at all? I am planning on upgrading to the 6.5 speakers on my 2012 Voyager and I know everyone says to take the pods out. I tried taking the pods out with my speaker and amp upgrade with the 5.25 speakers and it actually sounded like garbage. Everything seemed like it was rattling
I feel it helps with the bass it makes it sound cleaner less rattle. It’s kind of like insulating ur door in a car. There’s a lot of different videos on it. Truly it’s up to u. Thanks for watching
I was watching your video and at 7:10 sec you're using the socket wrench with flex joint. Would you mind let me know what size this is and what is actually called?
Sorry not sure what size socket we used it was a while ago. But the flex joint is called a swivel and it’s a 3/8 but they sell them all different sizes
Well I hope you are still riding and enjoying the wideglide 😊 I like the way you ride it using the torque spread to full advantage. I have a 01 dyna wideglide i rev in the same fashion. Bought mine in 2010 from the original owner with 10 000 km. The original motor needed a full rebuild at 215000 km but it was cheaper to put a S&S crate T111 in instead. So far so good and I’m really enjoying the way this motor pulls. Keep up the good work👍🏼
@@LV3worx I ended up buying it. Talked him down to 3700… has v&h short shots / big air cleaner/ fuel pack 3/ legends piggy back suspension/ saddle man seat & t bars. Made out like a bandit.
Beautiful bike ! I just came across your channel in my feed actually and I'm happy to support your efforts and those of other fellow moto content creators. I look forward to seeing and hearing more from you in the future, keep up the great work and ride safe out there.
Doing your own work, learning from mistakes, and dropping back & changing up and moving forward! Nice work and thanks for sharing. Your experience helps.
What did you do to get rid of the hyper flash? In the main video I noticed it was hyper flashing, but at the end with the hazards it was normal. I just installed the same kit and did the front one as well. Got a custom dynamics signal stabilizer as well and still getting hyper flash and the front one is super dim. Wasn’t dim in the front until I installed the rear ones. Thanks!! Looks awesome
@@LV3worx thanks. In a weird twist of events it randomly started working. Lol Not sure what happened but my guess is a bad connection or something because once I re- installed it on my bike after a bench test the hyper flash went away. 🤷🏻♂️
Love the set up. It's sick. Is that the stock passenger seat or did you upgrade? This is the next bike I want, but my wife is worried the stock seat is too narrow.
