Hi there, our battery range is 40 miles dependent on the choice of batteries. Of course all batteries are affected by user weight, terrain and temparature
I would buy this awesome piece of kit tomorrow but after a 3 hour demo in the extreme x8 we found that all 6 access points to 150 square miles inaccessible thanks to kissing gates, stiles etc. The councils blame mountain bikers. This is happening all over the UK 🇬🇧
I Wonder what damage the salt water did later down the line not to mention the grit I took a drive easy rider though a salt water puddle on concrete a week later it wouldn't start.
Hello Brian I would be interested to know what you mean when you say not quite there yet ? Do you own one of these machines ? Have you owned one in the past ? Look forward to your reply.
Awesome stuff.... Kinda wishing I wasn't waiting on the delivery of my not-waterproof Extreme X8, as I'm guessing the pricing of a waterproofed 4ZS in Australia might be similar.... and I might be actually able to get my one foot wet at the beach....
D'you know! Ok, this is very impressive and a serious off-roader but...any person with mobility issues would be acting in a totally irresponsible way in attempting this sort of terrain, unless of course they were physically capable of 'stepping-off' and walking to safety! Don't get me wrong, I would love a TerrainHopper, but would I expose my safety to this sort of environment?, not a chance! If for whatever reason a component broke or failed, anyone not capable of 'walking out' would seriously compromise their safety and possibly that also of those that would have to come out and rescue you! I'm trying not to sound like a 'party-pooper' but you would be mad to attempt this sort of terrain unless accompanied by an organised group such as the Disabled Ramblers who always have a Plan B! Great piece of kit though!
I think the intention is to show you that Terrain Hopper is more capable than most users will ever need or want it to be! But perhaps too, disabled adrenaline junkies are equally catered for by this product! When you consider you can add a winch and a tow hitch which both require either an assistant or ability to dismount and do it yourself, the Terrain Hopper obviously has options and abilities that are not suitable or viable for all riders. However, the Terrain Hopper + rider may become an invaluable helper out and about on a property, whereas the rider may have previously been stuck looking out a window and unable to actively help in any way.
@@charlesgibbs4362 I have just ordered one having had a ride / drive on one. It obviously needs the user to use his common sense. I have an injury from my forces days and can't walk far or stand long but i still want to be able to go out and have fun in the woods and doing the mountain walks with the wife and...maybe.. a bit of back packing. This is my second chance of freedom and i'm grabbing it with both hands.
@@davenrea Hey Dave, I’m absolutely delighted for you that you’ve placed an order, you’re going to have some brilliant adventures on it! I have Tramper which, whilst very capable, doesn’t possess the ‘guns’ 💪that your Terrain Hopper will have! I wish you the very best and thank you for your Service!👏👏👏👍
@@davenrea Hi Dave, and a very happy new year to you and your wife! Thanks so much for responding to my comment…I hope you were able to appreciate that I was not in any way trying to put anyone off getting out n dirty!, I would’ve just so preferred to have seen the presence of a fully (physically) mobile person in attendance! I have a Tramper myself which, since I lost my own mobility, has taken me to places I thought I would never be able to visit again! I’m delighted that you have a TerrainHopper on order and wish you every success and enjoyment with it. I also note that you may have lost your mobility whilst in the Military? Wherever the circumstances Dave, I thank you for your service. Bests CG.
