To add some details to this posting, these are home 8mm films directly from Frankie Yankovic's own personal collection. The first part is indeed his home movies of Arthur Godfrey show those days simulcast over television and radio. The audio is actually from a radiola LP/ cassette release behind the whole clip. The second half of this video is his appearance on Patti Page Big Record Show from October 16th. 1957. The show featured performers of recent releases. The one being played is his release during October 1957 Columbia... A Lively song called Squeezebox Polka ...was released on 45 RPM. The studio was in New York at the now named Ed Sullivan theater. Side musicians include Joe Sekari on accordion, Emmett Morelli on piano, Pete Rogan on Bass , Roger de Benedict on banjo. Hope to find transcription of this program someday.
