Have this really bad , I can get to the bulk of the tension from inside the mouth and far back into the throat almost and pressing on the bands back by the jaw. It’s taking many sessions but it’s working , going under the jaw doesn’t hold much tension deep inside the mouth is where it’s hard to treat it’s super sensitive
I'm confused.. I was taught to never massage downwards from the heart, especially tibialis anterior, which I was told to only massage towards the lymph nodes which are under the knee. 😮
I have a pinched supragluteal nerve. When the nerve pain flairs up it ALWAYS takes the TFL with it and my whole back gets dragged down by it. I've had this pain for years but only thought to use KT Tape to fight it today and this totally worked!!! I think you just made my quality of life 3x-5x better! Thank you so much!!!
Thank you Stuart for sharing this webinar! Thank you to Robert Schleip. I’m a big fan of Robert’s work and study and reference his work in my own bodywork . I never tire to listen to him and watch videos repeatedly. Greetings from Melb! 😊
I take great pleasure in pulling up detailed anatomical pictures and figuring out exactly which little muscle it is that I am feeling sore after new workouts. Lately I've been doing JM presses and assisted one arm push-ups and the anconeus muscles have been speaking to me. I'm about to massage gun those bad boys down, can't wait.
Im a mail carrier, so im walking all day. I've been in gradually worsening pain with plantar fasciitis for 3 months now! I got a steroid shot(s) from a podiatrist, and I'm going to a Chiropractor tomorrow who does ART, your technique looks amazingly relieving! I hope they can help me!
Ah! Please come to Canberra, there is rarely any ongoing in-person education that comes here for massage therapist :( It's so frustrating, that I can't study Myotherapy because the closest campus is 4hours away for just one day a week 😫 I've had to learn all my trigger points online from you and Neil Asher.
What about extreme pain to the point where it hurts even while off my feet? To the point where if I wanted to massage it I couldn’t because of the pain
Hi i have a question I feel a lot of pain in that area that you explained when im playing basketball or running And when i I press it with my finger it hurts a lot How can i fix it
I’m a first time massage volunteer for the Pan-Mass Challenge this year (riders raise money for cancer research❤) and I’m going to be working a shift from 12pm to 7pm. Thank you for this!
Well you have broadened my mind because I was taught we were never allowed to drape the sheet that low. But it's always been frustrating for me always using proper draping in that area because that's exactly the spot we need to access with a continuous flow when the client requests low back & glute work. Thankfully the spa I work at now is a little more liberal so I'm going to keep in mind your examples here.
Always get your informed consent from your clients in regards to where the treatment takes place angela , just so client and therapist are on the same page.
The area you're working really hurts after going for a run(can feel a dull ache, days after the run, and if I push the area its sore and feels bruised). Is this caused from being heavy footed or over pronation during a run?? Any exercises to strengthen the area up? Thanks and great video.
its probably overloaded not weak, get some treatment from a good soft tissue therapist, you could also probs have some other issues , have you ever injured your ankle ?
