I'm surprised NinjaKiwi hasn't yet made its own Circus/Clowns-inspired game! I figure that such a game would involve two monkeys and a see-saw, instead of two clowns and a sea-saw. Such a game might be called "Bloons Jump". Yes, NinjaKiwi is the company that brought us the "Bloons" series, as well as the "Bloons TD" series.
1:13 Oh yeah, I did many many back and forths on that for Decathlon (on the Commodore 64). Not as good a game as Winter Games, but joystick works well for both!
RIP jack...Commodore as a company was never the same since he left the very company he founded...Under his leadership the amiga may have lasted a lot longer than it did.
God I remember playing this during my childhood. I never had internet capability so I always had to play alone against bots, but it was one of my favorite games ever
'Twas the game I'd load to silence 8-bit Atari friends when they's brag about Atari graphics. The visuals truly are the most stunning sprites of the era. I never noticed a problem with hit detection (probably because I'd just blame my own bad shooting), but the sky-demon level becomes impossible (not figuratively, but actually) the third time you make it up there. Your ship cannot fire fast enough to get all the mini-demons, so I've never made it further. Too bad because it is otherwise a really good shooter. It's NOT Demon Attack, but it is fun (until it's not).
Major design flaw where you have to power off the hand held before connecting or disconnecting it from the Dock, won't take long before one forgets to turn it off especially if they are in a hurry that they will forget to power it off and risk damaging the system or if they have kids it will be even shorter before the kids removes it from the dock without turning it off first.

I've programmed the Jag briefly , it's a nightmare. Everything take so much longer to do on the system as you have to move the data individually - and it's so buggy - it stalls constantly.
the 7800 sounds closer to the arcade and as much as I love the atari shooting sound in this one, not only can too much get annoying but its rapid fire while the 7800 sounds closer to the arcade and sounds softer and still sounds epic.
As a kid Q-Bert was my favorite game. I played my first version as a Portable Arcade Cabinet version for hundreds of hours and is what got me hooked on the gameplay. Through all the home versions the Ti-99/4a had the best home port.
