This event is dumb AF By placing the starting line at the racetrack's original starting line, you're robbing of a much better experience. Fuji Speedway's main straight has been around a mile long for all of its existence. The start of the straight points up quite a bit but, if you push it forward just 100-200yds, the straight becomes fairly flat. If you place the starting point there, you still have most of the mile left. Meanwhile, if you place the starting point at the track's original line, you are basically halfway. The remaining straight is really short. I'm sure the races themselves were of less than 1000ft when they could've had almost quarter-mile runs if done correctly.
Went to both Atlanta races in 2010 with my nephew !! This race we were in the grandstands in turns 3 & 4 !!! He had seat no. 13 & I had no. 14 !! My nephew was a big Tony fan so I told him let me swap numbers with & maybe it would bring his man Tony some luck & I'll be damned if he didn't win !! A memory I'll cherish forever !!🏁🏁🏁
Thanks for posting this, and for including some of the Indycar pre-race. I was there so I didn't get to see the segment about Simona visiting Switzerland County. That is just right up the road and I drive through there when I travel back/forth to Indianapolis. I need to stop there and look around the next time I am through there. Can't believe this was the last Indycar race weekend at Kentucky. ☹

I was in the PC Richard & Son Suite in the tower this day. I remember sending Lewis Bloom notes about the Pro Stock numbers of how it was the longest period between a 6. second barrier being broken at another track & RP having their first. in this case the first 6.40 PS Run & how RP had yet to have it. I was calling it "Bizarro world" & We finally were free from it on Saturday & Erica's 6.464 was the icing on the cake. Also Katie Sepanek continuing her Round win streak at RP going back to winning the LODRS Divisional in Sept 2013
