Mahindras they are very good and available in Australia the big question how can Mahindra build such high quality and reliable vehicles at such an affordable price this Scorpio is aud $46000 in Australia cheaper and better than its competition lndian built vehicles can't beat them l count India along with certain Japanese brands as the best reliable vehicles available in the world
This is a common occurrence with brands that are still building their reputation. Over time, more and more people will be buying and owning these cars and then the company will be able to charge Toyota money for their vehicle. For now, the people that are discovering this brand are blessed to be buying these cars at such an affordable price.
@@theemotionalremix As you gathered l do like the Mahindras l will never buy one because l have no use for there vehicles although limited but if buyers do there research and find out how good they will buy them also lndian built vehicles are excellent we own a Suzuki Baleno made in lndia
@@theemotionalremix l don't think they will go up in price that much because they are maid in lndia because when the Suzuki Baleno was available in Australia the GL was the cheapest car in Australia we own one bought it second hand for aud $15750 7 years old with 70000 kilometres on it a good quality car new for under aud$20000 and that would be drive away look at now what the cheapest cars available now both crappy cars the awful MG3 and the small crappy Kia
I have seen a lot of videos on the Mahindra and they have been reliable there is four PikUps owned by a courier company in the Hunter Valley called Hunter Express and the four Pik Ups have done over 500000 kilometres and l have no objection to buying an lndian built vehicle although l will never buy a Mahindra we own a Suzuki Baleno built in lndia and l have seen a couple of Mahindras driving around also reliability is a luxury and lndian built vehicles are as good as some Japanese vehicles and there are many vehicles built today that will not do 500000 kilometres
I was reluctant to purchase my Karoo S 6 at first. Now one year later and 60,000km on the clock, I love it. We have a farm in the Khomas Hochland in Namibia. The final road distance of 26 km takes 2 hours in 4 wheel drive over very rough terrain. Never a problem. On the open road I consistently get 12km per lit at 120. Most underrated 4 wheèl drive vehicle on the market.
Unfortunately auto majors offers lighter n inferior products in India. I am sure Mahindra don't have any plan to launch this good product in india...I am sure it will sell like hot cakes in Panjab. But ...
My Mahindra Scorpio-N has just been taken back to the Centurion Dealership for the 9th time in three months. The service I have received from @mahindrasa and @mahidracenturion has been shocking. My advice would be to read up on the company's service records and the steering rack issue on this model.
Thanks from Australia for the review, Andre. I appreciated the comment about being adequately powered. Some reviewers in Australia have got a bit breathless about the power and torque numbers relative to comparative vehicles in the class.
Please don't buy the Scoprion-N, There is a known steering rack issue 10+ cars in South Africa have now reported the same on the 4x4forums and Facebook groups. My car is still not fixed 5 months in. My advice is to steer clear.
