Hi All, I bought a Scorpio-N 4xplor in September - the vin indicates made in January 2023. It has a loose steering issue which Mahindra SA is busy investigating. I spoke to another person with the same problem and their Scorpio-N was also made in January 2023. Are there any members here who have a similar issue and their vin number starts with MA1TK4YTTP6A With the 10th letter P indicating the year 2023 and the 12th letter A the month. It is a feeling of a loose component on the steering while traveling at low speeds over rough terrain. Could you please comment if you have a vehicle with the same problem and vin?
Please don't buy this car, There is a known steering rack issue 10+ cars in South Africa have now reported the same on the 4x4forums and Facebook groups. My car is still not fixed 5 months in. My advice is to steer clear.
