Its funny how the Enclave are so incredibly powerful yet so incredibly dumb at the same time. How did these people manage to be destroyed so thoroughly on the West Coast and the East Coast? Obviously they're just the generic villains but damn, its almost immersion breaking how badly they've bungled surviving the apocalypse.
The only explanation I could think of is technology. The problem is that Bethesda managed to trivialize the plasma, laser and the power armor, but in this game, especially during the New Reno dialogues, you realize how powerful that technology is. Search for "West Side Massacre"
The master tried unifying the wasteland under supermutant rule while the enclave tried cleansing the wasteland from its irradiated inhabitants and mutants and then repopulating it
As freakish as the master was, he was simply a pre war child whom became a post war threat. The enclave was pre war shadow government--far more danger than any one pre war human could become. They represent all of the evil of the alternate USA as well as the 164 years that had passed had turned them so narcissistic and psychopathic, that it’s scares me. What a brilliant series fallout is
the isnt it not more of f4u in pacific theater and p40 were used in china against japanese zeros... the nose art was copied by p40 from ME110 shark jaws
how the fuck did he know about p51..i believe its not know to that part of the theater ... p51 came later and its not that he can google and known the coin caldillac of the sky
I kinda preferred the Fallout 1 antagonists to Fallout 2. With the master, he's intimidating and a monster, but his plan makes sense. Super mutants are stronger, tougher, live longer, are immune to radiation, and retain their intelligence if the subject is not irradiated. The enclave just wants to straight up KILL what is MOST of the population because.... Weird kind of racism, i guess.
@@person9313 they're still doing that for no REAL reason. It's not nearly as compelling as the master. If the Enclave was the real USA, they'd simply imperialism the West Coast. But no. NCR beat them to that.
@@absolutezerochill2700 the usa in fallout was far more extreme than our one. besides, as stupid and awful as their excuses are, it's simply what he believes in. the master himself claims that anybody who doesn't submit will die anyways, it's just the other end of a extreme with richardson. i think the master is more compelling as he provides a (half) pacificist solution to the same "problem".
@@BooguyTheAdept The VA, who I believe played the principal from _Ferris Bueller's Day Off,_ was arrested in 2002 for CP and indecent interaction with a minor.
Well, ~99.5% of humans are dead to start (both mutated and unmutated, since only the Enclave has been inoculated). Honestly it looks like a pretty boring world once you start with that. The Enclave inevitably would fracture at some point, and/or achieve their original goal of colonizing another planet (as given by Tim Cain), but that's a long-shot given how few human resources they would have.
“I am the president of the united states!” “Oh. Good. Just wanted to make sure.” Blows his brains out before massacring every person he can come across before leaving a nuke and heading off on a tanker to leave no loose ends
I think that chosen one is a actually a bad guy, a real psycho, the president know what is better to his country, first master, then president Richardson, not mutant none even humans, HOW much time it takes to that freaking loony that you call "protagonist" would cease his will to utterly wipe out every good organization that wants things get better? he's like a guy who's like "if you perform a discourse of changing that trash world you better watch' out for yourself prick"
Your words bring shame to your PFP. In fact, this is something that western RPGs do better than JRPGs. All JRPGs do is have you kill "monsters", but only a western RPG allows you the pleasure of killing a human with no magical or super powers in cold blood. None of that Persona or Metal Gear bullshit where the political leader rips off his own shirt, and he's ripped underneath or anything stupid, like that. In fact, not "allow" or opt as an "evil" option, but actually require.
@@DarkAdonisVyers sorry for misleading you but unfortunately I'm complete profane in video game in the way of national preferences plus I hate shooters and only prefer game where you can develop your character like fallout series, and I'm not anime geek just because of pfp it was in the past and, I simply like Jahy and she's undoubtedly hot
l once saw a P-51 well known in the Niagara Region, fllowing the lower N River, to the mouth on Lake Erie the big park there in Niagar-on-the-Lake. l knew about it and INSTANTLY knew it was him from the engine sound. he banked left so l could see those beautiful checkerboard markings that said 'I'm here'. the doopler effect, this was 1990 when l was on contract with Shaw Festival and on lunch break. memorable. God Bless you guys, the Redtails, all of you.
l see a day when the P-51 designated the greatest propeller driven warplane ever built. this will take into consideration technology of the times, total effectiveness, opinion of those flying the machine etc. also no wonder Christian Bale went on to ace his acting career, and still to today
sounds that vault tech was operated by the government, and that control groups don't mean your safe, so vault 76 as a control group is probably in a memory lane lounger and the whole of 76 is a simulation like operation anchorage. Meant to train the person in one way or another.....its all a dream so it hasn't changed any lore at all
I love how “sane” He is like the one of the SS officers explaining calmly why the holocaust was necessary. Same with the rest of the Enclave they seem like normal people and it is disturbing.
Having already enjoyed Christian Bale's performance in this one and in "Rescue Dawn", i consider "Rescue Dawn" as a story of Jim who, after this experience of WW2, became an American then chose to have his career in USAF. Eventually, he got himself involved in US military intervention in Southeast Asia and ended up being POW. So, "Empire of the Sun" is like prequel to "Rescue Dawn".
